This was great, as an artist myself I was looking at more expensive machines in case the cheaper ones were so inferior that it would make your job hard.

I started a tattoo apprenticeship many years ago and it was quite frankly abusive, put me off for 15 years but I’m going to get myself back into it now, the internet has a lot more info available now , I learned very little in my apprenticeship because of the backwards mentality, it’s much more accessible now.

If that's your first tattoo we'll you would only get a he'll of a lot better because that was a great first tattoo anyone would be happy with.

Have you ever considered using an airbrush to add highlights and gradients to heavy texture canvas's like that.. if nothing else it is a good way of making sure you get colour in all the pits and holes... wishing you the best with your future plans :)

How is this for beginners?

A lil tip remember to have great lighting from all angles! So u dont have bad eyesight in the future, AND dont be scared of making the voltage higher to learn to move your hand a lil faster and cut time (finish sooner) but of course práctice lil by lil whatever is comfortable for u! 🤍 Hope this helps love:)

Thanks for the tips, Kalliopi ❤ as someone who also struggles with mental health and recently started proceeding with an art career, let me tell you that having a 9to5 actually doesn’t solve anything… Looking and applying to jobs in this market can also be EXTREMELY difficult on you and then the actual job might take so much of your time and brain capacity that it would completely kill your creativity and dreams. Structure is something you need to work on yourself, rather than relying on other people (like a boss) to create it for you. The boss will only create structure beneficial to them and their business, but not yours… Something that might help is dedicating few days to create a huge annual goal spread sheet with the main goal you want to achieve and then break it down to the monthly goals, weekly tasks and even day to day tasks. This helps to get the mental overload off you because everyday you wake up, you already have your agenda and set of tasks. The thing that sets us back the most is not having a clear goal in mind of what EXACTLY we want to achieve and we sporadically try to do a little of everything, then it doesn’t create a lot of impact and we start doubting ourselves and burn out… Be strong, we all in this together ❤

Thanks for your insights. Negotiation, that is something I am rubbish at. Blended is great, I use that too and I studied Interior Architecture. So not quite the same as Architecture but I too have a lot of Architecture and Interior Design books. Your books look chunky ! You have a lovely, friendly vibe to your videos. There is so much to learn and things are constantly changing. But it is an exciting time for artists. So many opportunities. Even with all the AI now. I think it will cause people to appreciate the real thing even more. Something created by a real human being, with love and care put into it. As for branding. Perhaps you could take a look at "brand archetypes". I found it helpful to try and find who I am and what I want to say to the world. Then you can use it to guide your brand. But, basically, your brand is you, not your art. It's about you and what you want to say.

Why the dried plants….. You can always spot the ones who are not classically trained. I don’t recommend putting dried plants next to your watercolors.

Everything you are doing is well done -including this video. You have put so much work into this -classy. I wish you much success.
