The first one lasted 9 months now I have a new one, ( garanty ). But I am disappointed because of the quality of the blades.after using them a few times you have to replace them. And also the accu capacity is very poor. Takes a long time to recharge them.

Don’t fall for the Stanley fatmax 18 volt range if you live in the U.K.,,they sell you bare units at ridiculously high prices not telling you that the battery’s are no longer for sale at major outlets ,or anywhere else come to think,,I have the whole range of cordless fatmax and they are brilliant tools.but batteries are non existent to buy ..search google for a 4ah battery if your in any doubt
