The baking soda test for low stomach acid has no evidence to show it works. The theory is that baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) will react with stomach acid (hydrochloric acid) to produce gas (carbon dioxide) which will be belched. However, this may lead to a false positive or false negative diagnosis, especially since most belches are caused by how much air you swallow whilst drinking. So how to know ? What if I consume these supplments and it actually I had high proteint?
@TheSAHDLife

I think you need to focus more on the lifestyle choices that are bigger picture. Smaller portions... chewing your food... doing an elimination diet to figure out what foods are causing you issues... not eating close to bed.... eliminating stress from your life. If you do all of that it is likely you will fix your problem regardless of if you have low or high acid.
@azeemarmaghan

How do i know this acid test is not accurate. What if I take these supplements betaine but my acid was already too high?
@TheSAHDLife

Your will know... your body will tell you. Betaine is low risk, but if you have too much acid (sometimes I've taken two pills) and it burns a bit. You can always drink some baking soda to neutralize it worst case scenario.

@TheSAHDLife 3 сағат бұрын
You would have to work with your Doctor and go in to test the acid levels in your stomach. There's a procedure you can do. The baking soda is just a common test to give you an idea... depending on your lifestyle and diet it might give you an idea of what to try first.

I can't say for certain since I didn't have that, but I imagine it may be a similar lifestyle path that it is for low acid. Elimination diet... chew your food well... don't eat close to bed... etc... You could do a baking soda gargle for the throat while you identify what your triggers are. Hopefully the video gave you some ideas for things to try.

Wow, this simple remedy really helped! My symptoms have been voice weakness, scratchy voice, cough, tightness in throat, throat clearing and post nasal drip.....2 days ago I found this video...I did the baking soda gargle, and I put 1/4 tsp in water and drank it. My symptoms were 90% better immediately. I am on day 3, and am gargling morning and night and drinking a small amount of soda water, and I have just a little clearing of the throat, most other symptoms are gone...Thank you so much @theSAHDLife for posting this video.

@TheSAHDLife

Yes it would be good... But to be honest I feel like Sonos might be refreshing a few more of their speakers this year so it's hard for me to recommend it at full price. If you get a decent sale or one used then absolutely. But in that space you would also want to make sure you get the sub and some Era 300s for surround. The Era 300s would really pop in that space. It's not cheap investing in but the sound and the ease of use is just great!

I also get pain in my left shoulder and I burp a lot throughout day( it's embarrassing, but it gives immense relief). Symptoms are scary, and I am at the learning stage of how to deal with the anxiety that accompany it. Initially, I would try apple cider vinegar to alleviate ( I presumed I was low on acid) ; it did work a couple of time tho, but now vinegar just makes it worse. Also If like where I live (Australia) initial consults are free or inexpensive get at least a few different consults done, I went to several who wanted to charge the same amount and put in half the work so happy I didn’t go ahead with them. The provider I went with in the end is so hands on (orthodontist) and she genuinely cares and has helped my bite soo much and I’m not even half way through my treatment - who you go with matters!

Not all Invisalign is the same even if it’s the’Invisalign’ brand. The adjustments they make to the plan is truly what makes all the difference, and a good provider will do as many refinements as you want until you are 100% happy with the results. Even if it’s a tiny tiny difference.

Big difference is providers who just use the automated plan from the Invisalign scanner generates in seconds vs more experienced orthos who go back and forth with Invisalign to adjust and perfect the plan to be much better for bite and overall result - in my experience orthos have much better results as they have studied the anatomy of the bite etc. in a lot more detail. quite shocked at how many issues you had like needing to cut ill fitting trays etc especially when it was your first tray ?! Should have fit perfectly If anyone has issues like that push back and get them to fix it!! You are paying for it afterall - and push for any refinements and adjustments you need don’t settle just cause they tell you it’s done! But hopefully if you go to an ortho they will be more thorough
@georgieee905
@georgieee905 3 күн бұрын
My ortho didn’t even scan my teeth first with Invisalign’s scanner like most do, initially we took x-rays and an array of HD photos inside my mouth and discussed in detail for about 40 mins what we would be looking to achieve and only once we had done that did we do the Invisalign scan then she went back and fourth perfecting the Invisalign ‘proposed plan’ several times over about 2 weeks before giving it the okay and that’s been done every time I’ve gotten new trays. She says the automated plans Invisalign software generates are very limited in any kind of bite correction so without making adjustments by an ortho the results are not anywhere near as good as they can be.

I hope that Sonos let us arrange a set of four Era 300. This speaker blow the arc away. I had a a Logitech 5.1 setup before. My conclusion is that the arc can’t compete against this in terms of Chanel separation. The Sound of the Arc is wide and big but not clear. I know, the concept of a soundbar is an afterthought to the missing of good in build TV speakers. But a good pair of stereo speakers at the same price point destroys the arc completely. The main selling point on the arc is the convenience. I really like the sound quality of the Sonos products but I think Sonos should go the Sony route. I believe that Sonos is capable to bring us a quad array of their single speakers. I hope the upcoming Sonos TV box will support this. But I only wait until the end of then year. If they didn’t deliver I will switch to a multichannel receiver setup.

It was supposed to be done in a year. it's been 2 years and my tooth is still a bit twisted and it destroyed my bite (I had a great bite at the beginning that wasn't my problem). The tray where my twisted tooth should be already straight fits on my twisted tooth. I can't bite properly for 2 years. Now, my orthodontist wants to charge me more. I had asked about possible additional costs and now he he asking for even more than what he told me at the beginning before I paid, saying that my treatment is taking too long. Of course it is, he is creating new problems. I complained with invisalign and they don't want to solve the problem! I have spent so much money and time and i am so frustrated, with no bite, still twisted tooth and orthodontist asking me to pay more.
