Love the embroidered caftans, have been drooling on them for sale on Etsy. Nice dancing! I'm not the expert, but on some of the YT dabke channels, the crowd jumps in the line, usually at the back and the line progresses! Might be 20 people in that line, and the front 5 or so sets the pace! Im in the back of the line trying to figure my left foot from my right!😂🤣😂🤣😂 What a hoot! Woohoo!!!!

These are American Palestinians keeping ancient culture alive! Levantine Arabs have an amazing rich history that differs immensely from gulf nations. Thobes represented different districts of Palestine. Intricate embroidery through the dress very specific to Palestine.

This is not the way a traditional Muslim /Palestinian Debke should or ever would be done. The ladies shouldn’t be hiking up their dresses (jilbabs) or be doing a mixed debke.
