Is it the same thing for a wired or wireless regular controller? Like the kind you might use when the switch is connected to the tv. Or does this only work for Joy Cons?

Thank you! So far this seems to have helped. Regular cleaning and recalibration weren't working, as my right joycons stick was moving to the right and making the camera randomly spin in a game, even after trying those out. The method you mentioned seems to have done the trick so far.

All these are for old controllers what about new ones

I had the same problem, but my controllers are different, they are like Xbox controllers, but Nintendo got a hold of them, it’s not the exact Xbox controller, it still fits on my switch, but they have like a green light inside of them. And the light green one had the light blinking, all I had to do was turn it off and on!

I tried to fix my joy con, but it still continues to drift. I ended up changing to new controllers. To my surprise, it continues to drift!? I updated my software, I calibrated my controllers, I updated my controllers and no luck. Is it the console itself??
