Isn't it funny that there's a push via PL rules of PSR to sell players before July to make their deadlines, what a f**kin joke. Spurs getting the outside of the Six's player's with at least 20mil off now Man u are at it as well, after all that's really what we're talking about when clubs whom can't afford to pay the required asking price for great young players, all because they can use the leagues shady arse hawks to pull it off. Joke. I say f**K them and keep hold of Branthwaite, fight them on the appeal when they give us another record breaking points deduction the gang of c**ta.

All it did, was prove that psr doesn’t work. Telling a club to sell for 17.5m less is obviously ridiculous if it’s supposed to help sustainability within clubs! It just helps the bigger clubs pick up bargains, as they all know you have to sell, and can offer peanuts.

How can you give just till the end of June to get within psr when the transfer market goes on for another month?? That makes absolutely no sense!!

If Forest had accepted an earlier bid, they would still have breached the PSR limit and faced a points deduction. I think you have misunderstood the basis on which the appeal board dismissed the request for a suspended penalty. The "reason" put forward by the appeal board was based on an earlier Reading case where a penalty was suspended because Reading entered into an agreement for monitoring future financial performance. The appeal board argued that there was no such arrangement for monitoring future performance and so the penalty could not be deferred oignoriong the fact that Forest had actually sold the player and there was nothing to monitor. It is interesting that Forest did actually sell the player for £17.5m more than the lowball offer in June but that counted for nothing and they received a 4 point penalty. Compare and contrast with Chelsea who "sold" a (loss making) hotel to a newly formed subsidiary to create a paper profit big enough to cover a PSR breach. No money changed hands for the hotel it was funded by an intracompany debt. There is clearly a two tier system. I wonder how the PL would have reacted if Forest (or any other club) avoids a PSR breach by concocting the sale of an asset to an associated company for a value sufficient to create a paper profit to avoid a breach.

Why did they change the play offs it used to be Sat L2 Sun L1 Mon bank hol Championship. I hate the way they have it now. I was scratching my head yesterday where was the play off for the other leagues and it was the week before.

I think the premier league need change the psr completely and go full alligned with fifa/uefa's rules and true the aounting to a yearly one like fifa from january to january instead of a rolling three of being able to 35 million a year over that time is a riducloys and farcial rule. As there is no other plc or limited company would have a possibilty of staying in business with loss of 10 million in a year let alone 35 million as cash flow would be major factor of whether a cva/ liquidation would the best option.

It's all too late for everton, so anything that happens now is irrelevant.

Very happy with Newcastle’s season, heavily impacted by injuries but finishing 7th is a great return. In my opinion Bruno will be the more likely player to leave. Someone will have to play 120m if they want Isak and I don’t think anyone in the world has that money to splash at the moment. Few additions needed for next season and we will be back challenging the top 6 maybe even the top 4 again. Great show as always
