Wouldn't half of the baking powder function (for double action powder) be depleted by morning, by the acid and baking soda portion of the powder reacting for several hours. Have you consider adding leavening in the am (with a tad more milk, to cut it in? )

Nope, the double action IS the key! It's first rise is when mixed when ingredients. It's second rise doesn't happen until it's cooked!

You did a great job with this video. I enjoyed the video just for the sake of the video, but I am going to try the two recipes. I am sure my grandkids will love them. I think the mummy dogs look tasty. Wish I would have seen this video before Halloween. I like how you decorated you set for a Halloween video. Music was great too. Thanks for making this video.

Finished product looks amazing. I have tried making many homemade pie crust recipes and found the butter recipes really tried my patience. One thing you do that I wasn't aware was even an option was that you made your filling then let it set for awhile. Wow, that takes the stress off trying to make the pie in my opinion. This was a very helpful video for me and I have made a lot of pies. My last cherry pie was actually the worst one I have ever made and was about to give up on them even though cherry pie is my favorite of all pies. I just found your channel because I was looking for crockpot country style ribs. I want to try those too. Looking forward to going through your older recipes. Thanks!

Wonderful! I guess the zest makes it super tangy. My fav kind of pie. You can also take the slices, put in an ice pop stick, dip in dark chocolate, and freeze. I bought one once, but I’m dying to do that myself one day!!! 😋

Absolutely! Diet soda should work fairly well. Do be careful what store bought BBQ sauce you use as well, as they can contain a lot of sugar, if you didn't already know.

Honestly, I'm not sure. I understand what you mean though! Just seems to be a common issue with a lot of measuring cups, from my experience at least.
