Eterna forest hit different

I just turned 19 18 days ago..the Pokemon Black/White 2, and Mario Kart DS music hit me hard in the chest because the DSI was my first video game console i got in my life at the age of 8 or 9 i believe and now its been 10 or 11 years since then..where time go..?

Going to have my last university exam and will know if I graduate in two days. I think just after thatI will come back to listen to this. It will like having end credits for my uni years

This tune in particular gives me so much nostalgia accompanied witha twinge of sadness. Reminds me of the good ol' days in my hometown, NYC. Platinum was my whole world as a kid, my escape. I dearly miss those days where I got all warm and cozy in my room during the winter, playing Platinum under the covers while watching the snow fall from my window. My parents and I would go to my favorite place upstate on the weekends. I'd always bring my Dsi to play Platinum on the way, bundled up in the car with my winter coat and gloves on, accompanied by the gorgeous mountain sights on the way there. Such a blast we had! Warms my heart just thinking about it, Thank you!

I partially love this game. I like the game somewhat and its not so stupid. Imperfectly made but nicely made enough as close as it gets for the Wii.

Everyone has their own definition of the most horrendous pain in life, but to me I’d say the greatest pain in this life is merely going through life. Think about it, when we’re kids we don’t think about the consequences of things and how the future will affect us. We all just think about being grown up and doing what we want. None of us think about the pain of our parents dying, losing everything and everyone we’ve ever known, the hardships and reality of life, what it truly means to be an adult in the world, the time passing us by. No, we just think about how everything will be fine after we’re older. I guess it really is like that song says: “We’ll forever be children in the skies.” To everyone who is still in their early childhood days, enjoy and make the most of this time. Because it will fly by without you noticing, and while good things are still yet to come; you will go through and endure a lot of pain beforehand. Pain of which you could never have expected.

I cried twice and came

Man I remember lt like it was yesterday back in 2021 I had saved up enough money (40 bucks to be exact) to buy myself Mario galaxy wii I was so exited that day I asked my mom if we could go to the mall and buy it we did the very next day I ran all the way to the GameStop and immediately grabbed the best looking cover of Mario galaxy. I excitedly walked up to the counter and paid for my game finally after 2 weeks of saving I had finally had one of my most favorite Mario games for my Wii!! I couldn’t contain my excitement as soon as I got home I ran to my Wii and booted it up me and my little brother stayed up until 12 playing it it was a blast and eventually a week later I had beaten the game.. memories.. I wish I could experience playing Mario galaxy one more time again.. thank you Nintendo for the memories

I was obsessed with Nintendo as a kid. I owned tons of games, more plush toys than I'm willing to count, and so much other merchandise that you could make a mountain out of it. I am so grateful for everything this magnificent company has given us, and they will always be the Walt Disney of the video game industry. I have made so many memories, some of which I hold dear to this day, some good, some bad (I was very easily angered by some games, to the point where Mario Kart was "banned" to play). I think the greatest memory of all, though, was the discovery of Super Smash Bros. That game practically made my childhood and I still adore it to this day for just how many icons of the gaming industry it brings together.

no one ever tells you how lonely college can be. i have felt an immense emptiness in college and it has made my college experience terrible. when i study i turn to nostalgic music like this. it makes me feel a little less alone, it brings me back to before my loneliness, when i was living with my loving family, when i didnt have any worries about anything. what i would do to go back to this time when i was happy.

I've come back to this video multiple times a day, multiple times a week. Like some in the comments said it most likely is because I miss the carefree world of being a kid, not having to stress about next week's assignment for college, getting to work on time, keeping up with appointments and anything similar to that. The most I had to worry about was not dying to Bowser when I had 1 heart left in the final battle of Mario Galaxy. I'd literally do anything to back and relive those days one more time but I am glad I can always find comfort in the times I do think about those days and listen to the music and play the games that made my childhood.
