I agree but gen 5 (B&W2) was just too good to ignore. Yes it was much more modernized as it was based off of NYC but the soundtrack was truly astonishing and fit the atmosphere perfectly. Bcuz of that, I honestly loved gen 5 and 6 is when I felt Pokémon as a whole took a turn. Despite that, I still loved Oras, but I have never touched sun and moon and beyond (Edit) thx for the support on this comment guys! :D

But it's more likely this, it's the feeling of the underlying stillness and unchanging nature of the world that even after a thousand turmoils are over and you have experienced all the highs and lows, the trees are there, the ocean is there and it will remain for thousands of years more. That no amount of humans emotions will change that and there you're always secure even though your peer group may be disappointed in you, nature always accepts you as who you are.

People keep saying to carry on but... I just can't... I miss her so much and I think about her every day. When I'm at work I take frequent bathroom breaks and just sit in there and cry... :/ I lost my father as well when I was younger so it's been bringing up those awful pains. I'm going to be seeing a psychologist for this soon hopefully, because it's dragging me down in every aspect of my life. I know she wouldn't want that for me.

And hey, Legends music so far seems like taking that feel back again with a different approach, I'm really excited for that game's soundtrack. However, every region got its peculiar and great vibe to it. There's sad/mysterious/melancholic tracks in all of them I believe, I can think right now of Frozen opelucid city. Sinnoh is just the best and bigger at it for good reasons.

What a beautiful comment! I used to play Pokemon Diamond and battle with my sister who had Pokemon Pearl. We would battle and trade sometimes for our favourite Pokemon. I distinctly remember how much we used brag about how good our starter Pokemon were. We were competitive in terms of who had the best starters. We would even make fun each others starter Pokemon(Even though we secretly liked each others). I also remember when my little brother wanted to play Pokemon and battle with us too, but my sister had Pearl and I had Diamond, so my parents refused to buy another one. Somehow, after lot's of attempts to convince my parents, they finally bought another Pokemon Diamond for my little brother and I was so thrilled and happy. I love my siblings. I tend to feel comfortable talking to them about just anything. I pray things will always be good my siblings. I wish you nothing but great things in life.

I had Platinum and my brother had SoulSilver. We would do some trades and talk a lot about the games. Gen 4 was such a happy generation that brought us together. I miss those times pretty badly...

Pokemon Platinum specifically is the game I cherish since I had gotten it from my older brother, who I have a hard time seeing today due to the fact that he’s my step brother he went to go live with his mom. I'm sad we didn't get a remake in the style of black and white, although we did get bw2. I just like pixel art Pokemon games more, I think it looks better and the Pokemon sprite animations feel more alive, but the games are more fun

I learned how to play Pokémon in that gen. I didn't even know how to save or switch Pokémon. And I have replayed through gen 4 and 5 many more times than any other gen.
