Afternoon Jack, I’m currently a serving solider overseas and trying to get into the property ladder when I’m back in the uk. How are you doing bathrooms for £2.5k and kitchens 3.5k. What a load of old nonsense. Two men working on a bathroom for 5 days, is at least £2,500 labour, same with a kitchen.

@@jackdavidsmith Every bathroom/kitchen fitter i've ever met, has worked in a team of two. Usually one of them does the carpentry and the other does other things

Mitch is a really good role model for young kids. He should do some mentoring on how to take the opportunities that come your way and make something out of your life. He is very articulate for a guy who dropped out of school at 16.

Great video Jack, looking for some advise. Im looking to get into property, i have 1 BTL and want to keep adding. I’m not cash rich so would be looking at mortgages, however i have a demanding full time job and limited time apart from weekends. How would you suggest i build this in the background, while i’ll get enough properties to quit my full time job. Add more BTL’s, flipping, other?

Glad you enjoyed the video! Either stick at your job and realise it’s a long term play. Or if you hate your job, quit it and find a job that pays better or start a business that allows you to build up capital faster. With the excess cash from your job or business, invest into houses that you can get at a discount and add value to

I've seen a house,it's a two bedroom semi- Detached. This property also has 50% empty plot. So if you build another exact home you would have a front and back garden. I was thinking building four two bed flats maybe. Even five. With the fifth one you could have a good sized balcony/sitting area. What would you guys think ??? Do you think I would even get planning permission ???

Great update Jack! I'm a silent lurker on your vids but just wanted to say i've had great experiences with DIY kitchens - for the price the units are really good quality compared to many cheap end competitors, I had a piece arrive incorrectly and they got me a replacement within a week. The only issues i had with them was that i was doing my kitchen during covid so they had huuuuge lead times, not sure what their current situation is. Enjoy your content as an engineer and someone who's interested in getting into property with a bit more cash behind me
