3 Level lower back fusion in 2021, both hips replaced in 2022. 2023 traded in 2007 Road King for a brand spanking new Low Rider ST in White Sand Pearl. At 67 it all worked out perfectly!

2023 FXST with a 119 C.I. Stage 3 upgrade and just put a Trask 2 into 1 stainless steel big sexy exhaust,really put the power to the bike. Drag bars keeping her low and lean for me. Again... Trask PIPE REALLY Brought the power out.

I did six pushups against the kitchen counter. The floor is out right now. It's encouraging to hear you say many of the things I believe are true. Some fine KZfaq doctors target the problem of sugar dependent snacker. And carbs are the next big enemy. Yes, awareness is the key to establish a balanced hatred for fake food. Good work! Keep it going! So 6 push ups is a start. I'll do it every day.

Haley's are like for the geriatric crowd. Sales are sloping because for some reason they have a bad rap with Millennial's and GenZ'. I'm a Baby Boomer 69 years old and roll on Yami's' and Kawi's Harleys have never met my need for speed. A big man like you would love a Second Gen Vmax.

At 5'10" on a good day, I am by no means a giant. But stock softail with mids feels quite a bit cramped to me. Bagger, not so much. But IMO it's apples to oranges.

For most of my 60+ years of riding, it was metric cruisers, culminating in the Kawi VN1600 Nomad at around 900 pounds dry. Then, my first Harley - a Road King. All were great for day-tripping with the crew as well as those long touring 600+ mile (1000 K) days on the super-slab. I briefly fell for the lure of a fairing with stereo but never used it and so I traded in the Street Glide for a Softail Deluxe greared-up exactly like a chromed-out Heritage. These are NOT lightweight bikes at nearly 700 pounds dry curb weight, but very nimble and, with my stage two, a blast to ride both locally and on long tours. At 5' 11" I'm the "model" height used to configure stock ergonomics so all my non-performance personalization (seats, bars, foot-boards and grips) have been purely for the esthetics.

I'm 5'7" and 74 kg and own a 75 Shovelhead. 03 Deuce and a 11 Road King.All great bikes for different occasions. Rode the King across Australia twice. Wouldn't do it on any other bike. Great tourer!

My first Harley was a Sportster, but I came from sport bikes. Moved to a Dyna which I still have but it's been in the shop. So I went and got a heritage Softail classic. MDB made me think I wanted a road king. I love all my bikes but I really love the Softail Classic. And I ride them all aggressively.

For me! The big difference between a softail and a touring bike begins at 78-80 mph. Above that speed the touring bike shines, especially on long trips. Bellow that speed Softail is tough to beet. Bad weather, heavy winds the touring bike shines all the time.
@jagjr6772Күн бұрын
The stereotype of Sporters and Softails are for girls, new riders and any other criticism should stop. Never understood why Harley-Davidson owners eat their own if you dont ride a Streetglide or Roadglide.

Customize is bull shit. They just put cheap parts on them. Then they overcharge for parts. The Harley Davidson company fucks the consumer.

Where I live, Harley riders are rude to anyone not on a Harley. The hate doesn't come from us, it's directed at us from Harley riders. Maybe look in a mirror to find out where the hate comes from. Sounds like it's no different where you live. I wear shorts and t-shirt on my GXSR
@OldNotDead-Club20 сағат бұрын
Thanks, it appears to be different for everyone dependent on area. I have no problem with people wearing what they want but wouldn't personally be doing top speed on a gixxer without leathers.

I personally own a Heritage Softail 114 and I don’t understand that appeal of the touring bikes at all. If I want to go on a weekend trip I slap the bags on, the tour pak and the windshield and there is my touring bike. Otherwise everything goes off and it’s a great bike for around town. In my personal opinion that is the most versatile Harley out there. Lean angle isn’t great, but that’s about it

Again, i had a 2017 indian springfield. 1000 lbs wet and a shitty front end. I went to harley for the first time because of dealer support around north america. Im 5’11 160 lbs 76 years old in great shape .however age still takes over. I bought a 2022 heritage softail classic, 728lbs. Wet. much easier to handle, love twisties and speed. The heritage works for me. I find it nimble enough.

The low rider s is a fantastic bike for sure. It would've rode a lot better with a different exhaust. I had the same exhaust on my bike, nothing but problems. It's way too short to tune properly, and the quality leaves a lot to be desired. There are much better 2 - 1 pipes out there for around the same money.

'24 Softail Heritage Classic - yes it is a compromise, but it is a compromise that works really well for me. Bags and a screen so I don't have to wear a dreaded backpack, and comfortable enough to spend all day on. Small enough that commuting isn't a chore. And yes, I like the classic looks & styling.
