Dude, this is such a good video!! I only have a handful of memories from ages 0 to 9, but just a couple weeks ago I had a traumatizing phone call with my mom and afterwards was finally able to cry for the first time in a long time, and as I lay in bed, suddenly memories from my childhood I didn't know I had started popping up out of nowhere. I thought I started the healing journey when I was 17 but I'm 24 now and realized even though I've worked really hard on myself over the years, I'm still just barely scratching the surface of things my body & mind need to heal from. I'm scared trauma is a battle I'm going to have to fight till the day I die, and I think I'm grieving the person I could've been without all of it, but maybe something will end up right in the end if I keep going. I hope everyone has a good day, and I hope your channel grows!! <3

If you are in an exploitative situation. Leave it, don’t wait for the zombie apocalypse to start living your life. That is the fundamental message of the show, and anyone who just wants to sit and complain is no better than the assholes who had a “100 things to do before I become a zombie” list.

I've been going to therapy for about 3 years and im still at a point where stuff like that will suddenly hit me out of no where. I have child hood memories but i dont know if they're real either, its nuts! Im also always blindsided by when people (also my therapist) says "you're doing so well". Life is weird lol but still mostly fun!

If you gain a skill truly valuable to society capitalism will reward you everyone complains about it but the truth of the matter is the more valuable your skill set is the better you will do in a capitalist society burger flippers are a dime a dozen but doctors get boat loads of cash it’s not cause one works harder it’s that anyone can flip a burger but not anyone can be a doctor

>lists all his emotional and psychological problems >blames them all on "capitalism" It's not your company's fault you listen to the same playlists on repeat or that you don't talk to your friends. If you don’t have enough time for your hobbies, then stop making youtube videos where you complain about your life, and do something useful instead. You could have spent that time in a much better way

China is end game capitalist dystopia of a different flavor. People can have criticisms of a place they live in, acting like they can't is VERY anti freedom of speech and against everything people say is great about this country. If you can't handle that cognitive dissonance of yours when someone looks past that brainwashing you are still struggling with, click away instead of commenting. Six minutes of a fat, entitled pseudosocialist thinking socialism (the real one that has never been tried before!) will somehow enable his laziness and solve all his problems. The video has no message, no thought behind it - just whining about how hard it is to live in a first-world country. "Oh no, I have to look for muh job and work whole 8 HOURS!" - you literally have it better than 90% of Earth's population. And what would you do anyway, if you had no need to work? Probably sit on your couch all day and complain about how evil straight people are or some equally dumb crap. But can you really expect more from a guy with a groomer flag on his desk?

If only we could make, I dunno, a COMMUNE that organizes labour on basis of Needs 1st so that we don't end up slaving away in an exploitative work environment that is built not only for Profit but also on the unachievable myth of INFINITELY GROWING PROFITS. But that's gotta be wrong. Afterall it must have "Failed everytime it was tried " right? My favorite Billionaires said so. Surely he won't lie to preserve his status as the exploiter , right? Surely he won't rally mercenaries to sanction and starve and assassinate any people that attempt to make a need based economy only to then turn around and say "See, It failed every time." He won't do that for sure.

This video is neat, cuts and effects are cool, topic also, but the audio is horrible pal. Gets yourself pls a cheap lav mic and match the levels, the effects are often 3 dB louder then the voice. Besides that, this is a very 'murican focused perspective on the topic, which is fine tho, but as a european, I am still gonna complaint lol Keep the good work up

@@xotome and for recording a tip, try to be between -15 and -9 dB when speaking normaly so you have headroom and after that boost the audio levels in post. Do test recordings to find a recording way that suits you. They're a lot of good YT videos about mixing but not overcomplicate stuff, keep it simple, content is king, it just has to sound alright to enjoy it and good to impress. It's become a really fun game to me basically, the best sim :p

I've wanted to talk about this for soo long I relate so much to this video. I've played multiple otome games and definitely am using that script when I interact with others. When I got into my first romantic relationship, the only gauge I had for a healthy relationship came from otome so I was pretty much copying the steps from that (and I mean, it worked, we're still together and we make jokes about how I copied otome games). Honestly, I do not know how I would have coped as an undiagnosed autistic person without dating sims, they were my sole resource for how to interact with people. Also I put like 800 hours into the sims in middle school and still kind of think of my needs as 'bars' to be filled, I need to remind myself to eat somehow I suppose.

I loved the video! I was a kid who was obsessed with the sims and I definitely think part of it was because I was autistic- it was so confusing because I did empathize a lot with my sims to the point of dreaming about them or crying when they died (or even when my cousins killed random sims for fun) yet I was told I "didn't seem to care about my friends" and things like that (which I did I was just never good at masking). Another thing that I really empathized with (unrelated to the games) was having early signs of autism passed off as funny childhood stories. One of my parent's favorites was how I just stopped talking to them and when I talked at home I was just repeating things my dolls said, like how did nobody said "this kid might be autistic"??????

this video got my immediate interest and this entire video explained how ive felt my entire life especially in my childhood. since i was like six or younger whatever, ive been obsessed with the sims with how much control and order there was to it. i still very much am, especially with the lore and how i can customize a character ive always LOVED customization. then otome games i got exposed to in fifth grade and that really changed a lot, it was something i always turned to not only because i did not have friends but because it would help me figure out how to speak to people. im undiagnosed and have been wondering for a long while if i have autism and it would explain a lot fjearoif sorry this isnt well typed out but i just wanted to say i really appreciate this video for bringing me to realize even more a lot of my behaviour and symptoms
