What cords are you playin
@MilRom98 ай бұрын
Just installed mine this past weekend. Clamps are tightened down all the way and specifically the clamp for the tip still has some play in it. Like i could move the tip in and out by hand with a little force. Also leak a bit. Any ideas or solutions?

Thank you for the video. How long did this project take you?

You shouldn’t go 10,000 miles before changing your oil, you’ll destroy your engine prematurely by doing that.
@tracyjamieson3993 Жыл бұрын
Just ordered these. Can’t we just stick them on without removing anything? I’d like to know how the adhesive held up? I have temps of -35/40 up north so I am curious before I put them in

Video would be easier to watch if it was widescreen, turn your phone sideways next time and you'll eliminate the black voids on the left and the right

Thank you! These are a pain in the ass on mine. Nothing lines up right, there's harnesses in the way in the passenger side, wrong account of hardware! Such a headache I'm a few days of frustration in but this is helpful

Use Six (6) Mobil1 Extended Performance 0w20 oil and Mobil1 filter or the Amsoil 0w20 Signature Series and the Amsoil filter. Those easily hit the 10k mileage mark and will be the best choices for oil. We have run tests on the competitors and they don't protect as well and last as long. You pay 40k for a rig, you want it to last. You don't put 85 octane in it, why use crappy oil? Royal purple, Redline, Pennzoil Ultra Platinum, Castrol, etc are not as good. And don't use Fram filters, jesus christ. Use OEM Oil and filter before using junk. Remember your differentials and transfer case also! You can buy plastic ramps or metal at Harbor freight for $55 and make the oil change so much easier. I prefer the plastic ramps because they are lighter and easier to store. Jack stands work fine but just easier to throw it up on the ramps. Jeep doesn't recommend six quarts for their health or for fun. It takes six quarts, so just put in six plain and simple.

Why not just take the OEM grilles off and just spray a couple coats of gloss black and snap them back on?? $5 bucks for the spray can 🤷🏽♂️

I decided to go a bit quieter (just a hair louder than stock) and very low budget. I put Vibrant in the back and kept mid-muffler. Comparison video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/p66mmdKfktK0mY0.html

I checked aFe’s website. This kit fits the 14-21 GC. My guess is that it could work, but might not be a direct bolt-on and require a little modification.

i put these on my 2018 WK2. the pics online are really misleading w/how low they sit. i also put a Rough Country 2.5" lift & it helped a little w/the clearance lol probably will get a different set eventually & put these on my '04 Dakota(well, try to at least.) it has a lot more ground clearance than my Jeep does

Yeah from the middle resonator all the way back to the exhaust tip. It all came off in on big piece. It’s still leaning up against my garage wall because I don’t know what to do with it lol

Nice, honest review. I book marked both items on Amazon...the grill replacements and the adhesive type but then decided to check KZfaq and saw your vid. No way in hell am I going to remove the grill. Do you have a link to the tools you ordered if I decided to get brave and do what you did? Thanks again for the vid.

I had a 2011 escape v6. When I tell you I always heard that car when I hit the gas. The engine was loud as hell. I just got a 2015 jeep grand Cherokee limited. This car is quiet. QUIET. So I def wanna do something like this to make it so I hear the car when I hit the gas.
