Люди. Кто нибудь дайте мне ответ. Как определить какую нужно брать диагональ мониторов что бы квадратный монитор и широкофарматный были с одинаковой высотой. Именно с мониторами Dell. Ну или скажите какие модели мониторов в видео

here's a tip for you dave you know that replacement ic you added was inserted backwards instead of fliping it around bend the pin that was in the wrong hole and solder a wire to it so when soldered it won't cause more problems in the futere for this arcade machine

Fake news: The edge connector was never meant to connect any cartridges. It's meant to connect peripherals such as a memory extension, joystick interfaces, etc. Same as with the ZX81 and the ZX Spectrum. The Timex Sinclair 2068 did have a cartridge slot designed as a cartridge slot because it was a cartridge slot and not an edge connector. Also the Sinclair Interface 2 for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum. It would have never occurred me to conflate an edge connector with a cartridge slot, where do you get these ideas?

i actually found the monitor for one of these on the side of the road, i know it’s most likely a lost cause but I’d still love to open it up and take a look at it, how would I go about getting a rusted screw out of the bottom, especially at that weird angle
@quailquillz2 күн бұрын
For removing rust spots on the chrome, try balled up aluminum foil and water. It works!

On one hand this is a cool little toy. On the other, I already have an Atari 400, 800, 800XL, and XEGS. These mini systems often become less expensive over time both new and used, so maybe I'll get one if it goes down to $70 or $80.

Why not install a SCART connector? It looks like European versions of this TV came with it. SCART is superior to RGB and composite.
@gamecubeplayer2 күн бұрын
what? scart is literally rgb (& it also supports composite)
@pilovali2 күн бұрын
@@gamecubeplayer it's also component and s-video. Plus it does audio as well.

I bought a Laser XT from Sears when I started computer science courses in college. I upgraded the RAM to 640k and added the 2nd external floppy disk drive so I could run Turbo Pascal. Before that, TP would constantly ask me to insert disks when compiling. This video is a real nostalgia hit. Fun times!

Question: Is it possible to modify a mono crt tv to a stereo crt tv? I love the compact size tv's but they rarely are stereo.
@gamecubeplayer2 күн бұрын
you can use a 2 female to 1 male rca cable to just combine stereo to mono or you can just use a stereo amplifier with magnetically shielded speakers

Let's be honest. Once this system gets traction DOOM *will* be running on it. If people can make DOOM run on graphing calculators it's very possible.

I have a Samsung TV from 1997 that is from the same line as this one, but a bigger screen, maybe the next model up. Those late model CRT machines were really solid and reliable just before flat panels replaced them. Particularly the name brands like Samsung and Sony.

Guys.. I had a dream last night that I ran into David and got a picture with him and then I asked him what projects he had in the pipeline to look out for, and he whipped out an experimental Xbox system from the early 2000s that had a built in hologram projector for games using a rapidly rotating light fixture, but he explained that it never went to production because of the safety concerns from the light fixture 😂

02:25 As near as I recall - This is a scene from TOBOR The Great TOBOR being a transposition of the word ROBOT. The word Robot derives from the Russian word ROBOTA - pronounced phonetically Rob ot (as in Got) a (as in apple) ROBOTA means ' work ' in Russian and other Slavic languages.
