Can you provide an update on this video using customer events instead of custom script? When I tried to add the custom scripts under "Checkout", Shopify has this message: Order status page additional scripts (Deprecated) Order status page is now customized using customer events and apps configured in the editor. You can revert to use deprecated additional scripts temporarily.

If it's a new Shopify shop, and the business address is located in California and no warehouse address in other states, do we need to input the Sales Tax ID for California only? If yes, does it mean that only California-based customers are charged for sales tax at the checkout?
