Thanks for the video, super straightforward and helpful. Quick question about prewiring for subwoofers. I’ve seen a lot of videos that conflict with one another as far as ways to wire subwoofers. If you don’t know which sub you are going to use, how can you be sure to have it fully wired for whatever you choose? One other question, a lot of the professionals doing videos on KZfaq are using Cat6 cable for wiring a lot of things, and I don’t usually hear about HDMI cable. Usually when I talk with consumers about wiring, they refer to HDMI and don’t know anything about Cat 6. Who is right? Thanks
Did you have to use the SANUS Full Motion TV mount or can you use ANY Full Motion TV Mount for this Sonos ARC SANUS MOUNT?? Any trouble pushing it up and down after a while?

Title is misleading to say the least. I have it and couldn’t imagine going back to a regular vacuum
@Cam.469 Жыл бұрын
How is it misleading
@580678 Жыл бұрын
Not misleading
@WJCTechyman2 ай бұрын
@@580678 Well, like any vacuum, a central vacuum relies mostly on airflow to get the job done, not suction (even though some units have quite a bit of suction) but if you try a trick of holding cheerios in your hand, taking your hose wand, cover your hand and the cheerios with a tight seal, turn the machine on, turn it off again, wait for the motor to fully stop and remove the hose, suction didn't make the cheerios disappear. Now, turn your vac hose on place it near the cheerios and they should disappear into the machine. That's airflow, good fellow. That said, central vacuums aren't any better at filtration than a lot of modern portable machines, just more inefficient. They consume more energy than portables and do about the same amount of work. What they do have is convenience. For example, I have an old Beam vac probably from the 1990s and for being of similar power consumption to a 1990s portable (motor and a power nozzle are close to a total of 12 amps) and it really does move air. The convenience is that I am not pulling a canister or pushing an upright (I also own Rainbow systems and a Kirby) when you are moving a fairly lightweight hose. The hose can be incredibly cumbersome in some areas but the length makes up where I have to do stairs. My Rainbow units have the option of getting 14 and 30 ft hoses and for one of them I have the former 14 ft electric and regular hoses for my Rainbow E2. I already have the 35 ft hose for my central system and it covers most of the first floor with ease. I can also do up the second set of stairs to the second floor and for that I use a Wessel-Werk HEB160 stair and upholstery electric power nozzle. Like the fellow said in this video, the central system has a lot of attachment and accessory options making it a fairly versatile machine. There are also options out there for wet and dry central vacuum systems making them even more versatile like if you want to wash your floors, you can do that. Two companies that make these systems in North America are Aqua-Air Wet and Dry out of Utah, USA and DrainVac out of Quebec, Canada. There is a device that enables regular central vacuum systems to do wet pickup but I would recommend against it being the device costs about as much as a good wet and dry workshop vacuum or a decent carpet washer.
@alericjohansen677528 күн бұрын
@@Cam.469 The title, as of when I found this video, is "central vacuum sucks" It has a double meaning. One meaning, is that it takes things in, the other is that it's not very good. Since society today is so bad, most people think of the negative, or the latter, meaning of the word sucks, which means most people will think of that first. Therefore, the title is misleading

New dishes have a "four leg" stand and the bottom of the stand doesn't protrude like the gen 1. This means shorter bolts are required. Distance through the leg is 7mm at the tip and 13 at the top of the slot. Adding at least 4 threads into magnet leaves you with bolts 12-18mm long. Ordering M8*20mm
@huckelberry10092 жыл бұрын

how did the m8*20 work for you?
@malley732 жыл бұрын
@@huckelberry1009 The bolts I purchased are no longer available on Amazon. One thing of note is the slot for the screws is a fraction of a mm too narrow and I had to use a Dremel to remove a bit of material, not enough to cause any structural weakening. I used plastic washers as they allowed for more consistent pressure to the magnets due to the sloped top of the screw slots. The 20mm length was exactly right. I tested this for weeks on the cab of my pickup and since I work from home I didn't need to stow it often. In the end I had to move it to another location using a different mount for permanent placement due to large trees near my house.
