You are 100% right, but ... DmC devil may cry is painful to sit through, they are both not great in my book, it's just that DMC 2 doesn't bother me much, the reboot is just so annoying with the story, platforming, cutscenes and bosses.

vergil can easily prefrom 3 Judgement cuts when doing one as long as the skill is unlocked just spam you melee button while he is doing one and it will do all 3.

Holy shit this game is fucking hilarious you just go around and fuck the enemies with crazy ass move you should play it on normal up to hard not easy cause they gonna make you play it or hard mode cause it difficulty is base on the combo meter so you should just play on hard to get more gold to get more move

So I'd like to talk about the treatment of women in this game, cause one: I'm one of those, and two: I like to write about badass women doing badass things such as fighting armies of lycan with an axe. So apparently the new female character in this game is an actual strong woman, that isn't a stripper with a gun... Okay, what does she do ? 1: She makes portals with graffitis...actually pretty cool idea, and seem to be useful. 2: She gets kidnapped...oh huh, okay ? That happens, but surely she can- 3: She simps on Vergil. ...I mean it's okay to be in love, but surely she does something else. 4: She does nothing else. Yeah I think it's pretty obvious that this character has been written by someone who doesn't know how to write female characters. But you know, there's a second female character, so hopefully it will go well, and it's a character that exist only to give birth to Mundus son... 1: First scene she gets introduced in the original (and maybe the definitive edition I can't remember), she's being fucked by Mundus, wow, charming. 2: "The world is as much your bitch as I am." I don't think I need to explain why this dialogue suck. 3: She has a boss fight where she...gives birth to Mundus son, and she is like...stuck to it- OKAY MOVING ON. 4: And she gets kidnapped by the gang as an hostage, and then gets killed. OUR STRONG WOMEN EVERYONE.

I still have my copy of God Hand on PS2 and I also have the digital copy on my PS3. But if Capcom remaster and release it on modern systems I would buy it again for sure. I want to Dragon Kick some ass on the go with my Nintendo Switch.

I didnt like this game at first when i started playing it but now its grown on me, the gameplay is cool (at least to me), dante design is still a little iffy to me and i agree on the devil trigger i hardly even use it through the whole game having him turning red with white hair i was like why do this to him also the story was meh and vergil wearing a fedora was too funny and the game giving out S ranks like candy is so easy like i didnt even need to try just use the angel weapons and you good lol

nah this game fun af, i totally respect your opinion but since it’s declared a reboot and separate from the og series there is literally 0 reason to keep pissing on it as DMC5 has restored the peace. Just think of it as a spinoff that doesn’t affect the original characters because the only similarities some of them have are their names lmao

i played this mgr about 8 months ago on my friend's computer, i reached till armstrong on revengeance difficulty but couldn't beat it because my friend's 14 year old controller started acting up, it kept using items and go in blade mode and other stuff by itself making the fight practically impossible and i wasn't familiar to MNK so i gave up on it even tho i finished the game almost 3 times now, im still hoping they include it in the next metal gear master collection volume so i can buy it for myself

aye we cant lie here but the combat was at least decently fun to go at while we waited for the real dmc 5 sadly that combat was the only fun part of the game in my opinion the story was meh at best

I wish there was more combat and more room to play with it but the game has terrible enemy management ; as in the placement of enemies and combinations of them is non engaging and kinda dumb, plus none of them feel threatening when you have so many ways to easily win.

I actually got the definitive edition for my ps4 and just wanted to see how bad it actually is. THE GAME DOES NOT GET FEATURED IN MULTIPLE LANGUAGES LIKE WTF Im german but I DO NOT wanna hear a game full of a german goofy dante 😭😭 other than that my eyes sometimes hurt because of the sheer red

Disagree, they didn't launch people in the air and flinch them. Site the Grenade launcher and shotgun existed but sword attacks were always more fun to use, in DMC 2, that's not the case.

@@RafikatorMan I spent 70% of my time in DMC 1 constantly Devil Triggered and building up S ranks with a shotgun mindlessly. At least in 2 they actually expect you to build an S rank combo AND THEN you shoot the hell out of everything in sight

@@champion1859 My brother in Sparda, with what combos?! DMC 1 has barely any to play around with and reaching S is far too quick. I had to do light resource management just to feel engaged with it as a "style fighter"

@@ellagage1256 There are 3 combos with rebelion, and 1 with Ifrit (that each hit can be charged) not to mention the ammount of specials there are, you can do a good bit of styling, it's nothing crazy like 3 but still fun
