That'll be $974 for 2 people. It's good, but nothing in a restaurant of any level is worth $1,000 imo.

@isaacshin74126 жыл бұрын
around $1000 per night, it costs more during the Christmas &NYE weeks. I would say it is worth it if you don't mind burning around $600 more. It costs around $350 for the Deluxe king which is a standard room but it's still luxurious and extremely nice as well

Soooooooooooooo blood moronic those who are sooooooooooo jealous they can't afford to stay in this hotel room trying to say "Oh look so much of the world is starving!" - Aren't YOU on a computer with internet service, so YOU are richer than most of the world, so what are YOU doing about it????? Don't be hating on these boys just cos they are richer than you are!!!! Don't be a hypocrite!!! Are YOU doing anything for charity? Don't be smelling other people arses when your own stinks!!!

Well you can't blame people for making money, can you?!? Sheesh!! So NOBODY is allowed to enjoy their money?? Aren't YOU enjoying having a COMPUTER when sooooooooooooo many don't !!!!!!! Do YOU give to charity??? There's no need to assume those boys who did this video don't give to charity. And just cos YOU can't afford to stay in one of these rooms doesn't mean nobody should!! barbaric?? be careful with those big words...its exactly the same as eating off a plate..you have a spoon and a fork..just because its served on a table you think you dive in head first or eat with your hands?..those who talk to much leave themselves to the mercy of the listener...so dumb. sorry for the late comment but how many people can stay in the hotel? i want to throw a party for my 18th bday and i want it to be there. i was thinking 8-15 friends who want to come. maybe 20. and we will be drinking will that be a problem?

And right across the street in the CBD you have homeless people starving and sleeping in the cold, what the f**k is wrong with the world? If you can afford to stay in one of these rooms you can also afford to donate to charity, but chances are you don't. What a messed up society we live in when people live like this while others can't eat, Tupac said it best..."It just ain't right when theres people living in 52 room houses not using 50 of the rooms, while other people don't have one room"

This is easy to stay in the one bedroom villa is like 990 a night that is cheap as chips as compared to some rooms. That are not this glamorous. Example Versace in Gold Coast expensive. But it's all worth it

I believe that using the table top to plate the dessert shows the skills and originality that all judges look for in these type of competitions. I will not sit here and pretend to know why they have such competitions, but I thought it showed the true skill of the chef. If he can do this on a larger scale, imagine what he can do on a plate? Also, he paired his food very well. Adding coconut to a chocolate dish is very exotic and brings the cacao flavor out of the pudding and the sauce.

very well said. I would have added matcha as well. That, with the menthol, would have been amazing. Refreshing, slight citrus and creamy. Again, great to see someone who respects the science and art of food. Thanks for the support.

Ok, a plate isn't really needed for food but you can't eat little drips of sauce.

I think people are just more accustomed to seeing a dessert classically plated...on a plate. I never would've known there were restaurants that served desserts directly on the table if it had not been for my chef instructor who told me so. It was definitely a new concept for me, but I like it.

The most expensive room at Crown Towers is about $27,000 a night. And to get that room you have to be invited to stay. So unless your the Queen good luck
@supahotfan2 жыл бұрын
The most expensive is the presidential suite on floor 38 u get the entire floor and theres 5 bedrooms with an extra side room for your security it was fcking insane when i went inside ive got pics but i dont think crown would want it advertise because it isn’t available to book on their website due to celebs and elite people who stay there for their own security
@TitanForce2311 жыл бұрын
That isn't a Villa Suite, that's a Tower Suite, and the rates start at $1380 a night for those suites. I know because I'm staying there in 2 nights time.

It's not only about the food and how it tastes... it's about the experience as well. This is something completely different; they're taking a "plated dessert" to a another level. Many of you guys don't understand this... And how are you supposed to eat this? Come on... don't see it as a table... think of it as a huge plate... I mean, what's on a typical plated dessert: the main dessert component, couple smears of sauce, and a garnish. Is this not the same?

I love the "trained chefs" saying it's "bullshit" or "plain stupid".There's a difference between a 'trained' chef and a 'great chef'. You may think that it's stupid but it doesn't stop it being one of the best restaurants in the world. Instead of sitting on youtube slating other chefs work go and actually train to be a 'great' chef; work towards having three michelin stars and being headchef at one of the best restaurants in the world and get some respect. If you don't like it, don't watch it.

You miss the point and sound like a communist. Is life just survival at the lowest point? Because some people have no shelter does that mean great architecture is meaningless and we all should be living in shanties and huts? In a free society we are free to chose how we spend our money. Having just eaten there I would humbly say that $275 is a bargain.

Art? this isn't art - it just saves on washing up. If you think art is serving dessert onto a table i feel sorry for you. It isn't an art experience either, that would be having protein sugar and fat injected straight into your stomach or something. Eating off the table is just stupid, you must be very easily impressed. - Quote from chef ' i got the idea when we run out of fuckin dishes and the kid that washes-up wanted to knock-off early'
@erjediik12 жыл бұрын
Edible artshow, plain and simple. People pay to go to designer art shows and collect the art. This doesn't strike me as being much different. Pretentious? Perhaps, but isn't most "art" pretentious to one degree or another? If this interests you and you live close by, you may consider going to a dinner event the same as you would take in a high level production. I find this fascinating as to how I can combine the flavors and structure on a more contemporary scale to more "homestyle" cooking.
