@@SpartanThrone ah, gotcha. I'll have to figure out more about how I can make this team function with each assist (wasn't expecting the DP assist to be mentioned due to the war crimes the MvC2 DP assists committed, so I'll have to do more research than I thought lmao)

@@willb6913 it's a unique problem because Viper likes Plasma and Morrigan likes Missiles. Viper also does like to be on point, but has been made to work as an anchor before. Morrigan is great on point tho, and if you were to make a team I'd recommend something like Morrigan/Doom/Viper with Missiles assist. That said... You could mess about with assists that work for both chars (I'll list some ideas below), but just know that Morrigan becomes the best version of herself when she has Missiles: Strider Vajra Rocket Log or Spitfire Magneto Disruptor Iron Man Unibeam Strange Bolts Dante Jam Hawkeye Greyhound Arthur Daggers Sentinel Drones MODOK Psionic Blaster

Arthur is a nice pick cause Doplghost has shown some good/fun Thor/Arthur synergy and Iron Fist likes Daggers assist, especially when gold, and he also has some good anchor moments if the opponent has already spent their XF. Iron Man is also good, Unibeam is great for IF and I'm sure Thor can use it. Iron Man isn't the strongest anchor, but he's capable once you learn his routing and he has a 3f mashable THC super that hits the opponent before the flash happens which is kinda broke (but attached to a weaker char). Hawkeye could work with Greyhound Strange or Rocket DEFINITELY work for both. Bolts for Strange or Spitfire Twice for Rocket. Thor does like Rockets Pendulum (log trap) assist more, but IF will lose some damage without the wall bounce. Akuma Tatsu could work Outside of that it's struggle mode with like Chris (machine gun) or Trish (low voltage) or some such who aren't really anchors in much of a sense but could get by.

@@SpartanThrone thanks, but I changed my mind, i want to play Nova/Iron fist (rising fang assist) instead, but if nova is universally agreed to be a top tier, I don't really mind switching to either Deadpool, Wesker, or Ryu, or maybe making one of those my second and having Iron fist point, I would also like my characters to be at least competent in close-quarters combat. BTW I tried Dante (Jam session) and Iron Man (Unibeam). I probably won't play them for real in the future, but I'm making do for right now. IDK why but I didn't a lot of anchors I tried except for x-23, so if there is a good mid or point that can get by as an anchor, please, do tell. I also need some tips with Iron fist, I got the rekkas down but my neutral and conversions off stray hits needs work. Also also my knowledge on character's best positions and strength come from MOTHMAN's tier lists. Probably should have been more specific earlier lol.

@@rick-fl7ql number of things. 1) MODOK synergizes very well with MorriJean which is a top shell, but general strong synergy with all the top tiers 2) he's got the best round start option/guaranteed escape 3) his mobility is really good and has a very high skill ceiling which lets him do dumb stuff 4) unblockable setups 5) jamming bomb snaps are seriously good. Any other char snapping still needs to score 4 hits, but MODOK hitting a jamming bomb snap skews it heavily in his favour 6) dorito/shield is stupid, like, really stupid 7) strong and ambiguous mixups both solo and assisted 8) great variety of normals and specials, serving unique purposes

@@donaldmartinez1764 he's one of the faster ones yeah for a couple reasons. First, he gets a nice 70% damage boost on his XF3, paired with good base damage on his normals and rekkas. Second, he also has his red chi damage of an additional 20%. It really hurts! Third, XF time/the XF bar freezes during hitstop, so the more physical hits you do/the quicker in succession they happen, the 'longer' XF can last. Same reason why Vergil's XF seems like it lasts so long. So they all combine to make it actually quick, but also seem even quicker.

It's all character specific. You need to launch them and delay your launch series (j.MMHS) and hit the S late. On Nemmy and Dorm (and one or two others) their hurtboxes bounce up for a moment when they land, so they don't touch carpet until a little later, allowing you to recover and continue. 3C does not act like it does in Infinite. On hit 3C makes it so that your opponent cannot jump or fly or teleport to get into the air. It sounds alright but it's really nowhere near worth charging Vs any of his other 3 charge spells.

@@direraven7735 that's a cool take on a solid shell! Nova/Doom is really solid (Plasma Beam is Nova's best friend) and can fight a lot of the best teams in the game. Shuma is the interesting part. Nova also loves Mystic Ray assist, and Doom gets a lot of control/freedom from it. Damage might be a concern later on but for now it's cool trio. I recently uploaded a basic team plan for Nova/Spencer/Doom so that might be a half decent watch even though it's a slightly different team!

If you do buster then lightning L, and never let go of the L you pressed for the lightning, you will have L3 buster charged by the time you reach normal jump height after the sougenmu. Be sure not to let go of charge at any point between the lightning and then, even during the super cinematic. If you are having trouble after experimenting, see if you can record a video of it for me!

Man those are some kind words. Tbh when hunting for clips for this and putting the vid together, I honestly got bummed out over: - how many of these comebacks start with a drop from my opponent - how many start with iron rage - how many work out even with drops and poor/impatient play - how much I haven't improved in all these years 😂 Turns out all you need in marvel is a semi decent plink and a smidgen of luck 🍀 My recurring thought in this was "weeber would've finished that plate" 😂😂

I look back at some of my matches wins or losses and just never get tired of seeing Iron Rage punish the shit out of something. Like getting a raw overhead. I still play and channel sparty if I am playing IF even with full resources and a full team because that is the energy you have instilled with the maniacal speed and devastating precision of your solo punch man. 🤣🤣🤣 I had a bunch of twitch clips that I wanted to use so I thought I'd create a montage!

One of the worst! He's bottom 10 out of 50 characters. I rank him maybe 42nd-ish. He doesn't really have mixups. His combos can be really hard complete (character dependent). He can't threaten chars who are up at super jump height as he can't convert to combos from up there really, his only option being to super (the pink volcanic roar super). He is quite fast on the ground however and his grounded normals like st.M and st.H are okay, but not as good as things like the sword normals Vergil or Zero have for example.

@@SpartanThrone thanks for the quick reply. I’ve tried playing zero but his combos/ lighting stuff is pretty difficult for me. I mostly play sf, marvel feels so much harder.

Usual team is nemesis, sentinel, and zero, sometimes I swap out zero for iron fist.
