An important aspect of this that no one is talking about is Sony’s heavy investment in eSports and how critical these types of games are to esports. While it may not be to a lot of people’s tastes (mine included) Sony no longer being beholden to Activision/Microsoft is good for PlayStation.

Yeah this was crap- unfortunately or fortunately I couldn’t watch live- I was busy so I watched right after.. I skipped so much and was so shocked and bored.. kept skipping 10 seconds at a time thinking why am I watching so much cinematic crap?… while I think Astro’s playground is a fun game did we need 10 min of a new one?.. and god of war ragnorok a trailer for PC? It’s already out- yikes this was a sad one. And idk how long I have been seeing silent hill trailers.. SO long. Same stuff and all cinematic ish.. sorry this was disappointing for PlayStation. I like my ps5, but i can honestly say 90% of the games i play are 7-30 years old. Every once in a while I'll grab a final fantasy or elden ring, etc. but a lot of these new games are unapologetically lazy/bland/bad

I legit thought this was a Guardians of the Galaxy game. This game just feels like it shoulda come out at 2017 or 2018, that's about the time that GotG and Overwatch was really relevant.

Never played overwatch, but I'm assuming its a copy/paste of an existing character.

I was interested in concord when it got teased. I like sci-fi. Then the showcase video started up. I like team crime comedies. Then they said PvP 5v5 and now I couldn't give less of a damn if I tried. I am looking forward to watching all the vignettes when they inevitably hit KZfaq. Well done Sony....

I agree with most of this. I will say that the Marvel Rivals game has a ton of potential due to the fact that it has decades of characters to include. Sucks that its in a “Fornite” style of gameplay but I could see it being fun
