Brogdon is a good player, and the Wizards got the draft picks. This is a long term move that could help Washington down the road.

Totally a double standard with Sarr any Johnny Davis.. He'll probably be a fine player for a team/coach that values effort and solid D...

I haven’t even watched the video yet but JD literally averaged 13.5 on 53/40 splits and I’ve seen nothing but hate for him😭 like wtf
@michaelnguyen96966 күн бұрын
It’s bc of the expectations. Like if he put those numbers up in year one summer league, it’d be a different story. But he’s in year 3 now 😭 he should be the best player in Summer League by now, not just looking like another dude 😓

Very informative. Thx. What’s the story with Stevenson? You didn’t mention him. Also, with Sarr, was there evidence he was lackadaisical playing in Australia? Some say his choice to play there and not in France was itself evidence of lack of aggression.
@WonzoTV6 күн бұрын
Stevenson actually had a pretty strong summer league. Didn't play much but made most of the shots he took. I didn't really see him as likely to get a contract so I didn't talk about him much but he's bounced around G League teams the last couple years. Definitely would like to see him in our system Sarr definitely wasn't super assertive in Australia, at the time I didn't find it super concerning, young kid pro league it made sense but looking how things played out I should have taken more note. His path was definitely interesting he left Real Madrid's system to play in Overtime Elite which is probably the worst "Pro" sports league that produces NBA talent then going to the NBL instead of the G League/College definitely raised some competition questions. Signs were definitely there. Glad you liked the vid!

Sarr is raw the same way he was advised. For sure 0/15 is insane, but his defence was good for summer league and he probably will learn from this and will be playing with better players too. His passing was great too. But Bub is the best value for the Wiz, great player for his age.

Agreed!

Sarr has a ways to go as expected. My worry is toughness... Not sure you can teach that and he appeared lacking big time. Hoping some of Jonas wears off on him. Bub may be that dude... Could end up an outstanding pick

Rumor has it, deni has family over in Portland. He is rumor to have asked GM winger to get traded to Portland solely to be closer to his family due to being homesick. It didn’t sound like deni wanted to go to any other team. If that’s true, good on GM for doing right by a guy that’s stuck by us through these times.

Die hard Wiz fan here..I understand where ur coming from because I liked Deni. It does hurt but the front office kinda looks like they know what they're doing tbh gotta trust the process. Bub had a pretty nice first summer league game. Only time will tell
