The original design is Hagia Sophie which was formerly a church in the Byzantine empire built by Emperor Justinian in 537 AD. It became a mosque after the fall of Constantinople in 1453 at the hands of the Ottoman Empire. Man this thing is beautiful. The Ottoman Empire replicated this design through out their territory in Turkey. There is another one in Turkey same design built by Suleiman the Magnificent called Süleymaniye Mosque. All of it take their design from Hagia Sophie. These medieval architects could design and built such great buildings without any computer illustrations and simulations.

In many cities it used to be difficult to find a nice hotel for a decent price. Often the only affordable options were rundown, dirty hotels or hostels that weren’t very clean & lacked privacy & comfort. In the last 10 years or so it’s gotten much better as there are more hotel types. There are many types of guests- some may expect lots of hands on help from staff, large rooms, pools, etc while maybe only one or none of these things matter to the next guest but the hotel industry didn’t provide many options or flexibility. It used to be low end/motel, midrange or top of the line but only the low end option was affordable.

Yes.. You can book your room to include breakfast and dinner.. These are optional. I'll suggest you book only breakfast and try dinner at different restaurants. AKIRA is a nice Japanese restaurant on the premises for dinner.

Okay, nice presentation. But so many details missing! 1) Is it only two bedrooms available in this place? Are there one bedrooms, or studios? And how much do these cost per night? Are there packages that lower cost of stay over a longer period? 2) Is there free WIFI / internet access, they come at a cost? 3) Where in Accra is this place? 4) How far is this place from the Airport? These are the details that help people plan a budget when thinking of travel to Accra and where to stay. Video could be a lot more hlepful.

Thanks for the feedback. It's about 10 minutes from the airport. They have all rooms, from studios up to 3 bedrooms. The cost varies according to season from $70 a studio, $100-$115 for 1 bedrooms, $150 for bedrooms, and $ 180-230 for 3 bedrooms. These are Airbnbs, so the price will depend on the owner, but they generally fall within these prices.

You're welcome 👍.. They have a nice breakfast. The Santa Justa elevator is 2 blocks away. There is a nice Chinese restaurant directly opposite the hotel good for low-key dinner. Uber is cheaper than taxis .
