I am bringing out the decking on my bass boat where it was previously a walkway to the casting deck, this was add alot of storage. I went w the heavier 3/4 ply cause I'm 6'5 240 lbs, the big storage area is over 2 ft wide and 3 ft long so I don't wanna take a chance of falling through or bowing while I walked. Great vid. Hope to finish mine Thursday

Any insight on float pods for a 1236 can’t find what works best very well. Don’t want to waste money.

So, they took a beach chair and put their label on it. How much of a long time did that take? That’s a 5 minute innovative concept right there. Lol.

also why not make a hydrogen gas operated engine with its own water to hydrogen converter, salt water is a great electrical conductor, then you wouldn't have to worry about buying heavy batteries, or gas and diesel.

The'll be looking at around 60,000.00 ++ too much money just for a 40hp for pontoon boats I like the idea of an electric motor, but for people that make 25 to 60,000.00 a year, your going to be losing allot of customers. or used on a 22' or longer especially when gas is cheaper and lighter and will be able to go farther, they're not going to be selling very many.

Anthony man, I know this is an older video but your craftsmanship and thoroughness on your builds is amazing. I find these videos so relaxing to watch, I guess it's because I'm not the one doing all the work lol

Amazing work. I'm gonna do something very similar, just wanted to see how another dude would do it, and you gave me tons of ideas. Thanks! I love how you see your hand getting more cut up and mangled as the video goes on lmao. I did the same shit when I cleaned the foam out from my two back side benches.

Yeah - Totally silly money for the performance. I'd say this only makes sense for a location where fuel is difficult to deliver or overly cost prohibitive - like on an island possibly with a decent solar array to charge it. Otherwise - silly money.

Nice option but for me I'd add oars, optional sail, outboard 5hp engine, vhf mobile transceiver, am/fm/mp3 with lights.

Best demonstration I have seen as yet. You begin with an exp and simple diagram. You showed the size of wire and why. You showed and listed the components plus the tools for wiring connections. You explained what products are to be used where and why. You left no need to out no matter what level of knowledge the viewer had. Good job, your parents raised you right and your teachers did a good job too. Give yourself a raise. Oh and not only did you master your trade, you mastered how to do video production in an organized manner. Most importantly you care enough about your fellow humans to want to share what you have learned on your particular path of life. Some think kept knowledge is power. They are wrong. Shared knowledge benefits us all.

So you can get 7 x6kw ecoflow batteries with 2 inverters for a total of 42kw of power for 20854$ making it slightly cheaper with 2kw more 👍

the attention to detail here is amazing brother! i am a sucker for the little things... but this guy got a deal on this boat. the pride and attention that went into this was just awesome, from the pole light clips, to the strut mounts. you couldve just tossed the lights in there or just not used struts and that wouldve been fine, but you went that extra mile. awesome build brother.

With all the technology we have there got to be a way to cut down on the weight maybe start thinking out of the box like maybe using the water and the sun to run the motor, there is a lot of high technology out there we just got to get a hold of it.

If they were 2000 I’d be tempted but in 2024 they’re up to 2800 🤬 My Minn Kota Endurance Max 55 lb was 329.00 and a 100ah battery was 129.00 and it takes me everywhere I want to go at 75% throttle and it does just under 3 mph. Would I like to have a E propulsion? Of course 😂

Plywood is a terrible option for the flooring in a John boat. Aluminum is much better. Use the blue foam board as it doesn't hold water if soaked. Plywood with rot under the carpet and hold water when soaked in it.

With the batterys, motor, bms and controller, cockpit controls , installation its is going to be around $50,000, add a hard top and solar system another $20,000, pluss the boat $30,000 + . So for around $100,000 you will have a boat that does 20 mph for one hour, then can sit around for 8 hours to recharge. No thanks could find other ways to spend that kind of money. Plus it's a boat so you are just flushing your money down the toilet anyway.
