As the Beat;es took a song from demo to finished they seemed to do a lot of experimenting and goofing around. You can kind of feel the competition between the three song writers at this point too. John's emotions were always getting expressed one way or another. I think he's having a little fun with Paul here.

When they gave the abbreviated title at the beginning, it reminded me of that take where John corrects the title from "The Benefit of Mr Kite" to "BEING for the Benefit of Mr Kite."

This acoustic Dylan medley that George does on the Nagra reels is one of my all-time favorite nuggets from those sessions. His version of "I Threw It All Away" from this same medley is enough to make me burst into tears!
