Frankly this video comes off like a cousin to Horsehoe Theory where the "enlightened centrist" feels superior to both sides of an issue while keeping themselves safe from criticism by not committing to anything in particular themselves. I have yet to see a single YouYuber who has critisized The Acolyte just for the Sith revealing his lightsaber. All the videos I've seen have been parts of series shitting on each episode as they have come out. The skinny dipping Sith has been used mostly for thumbnail clickbait - JUST LIKE YOU USED IT.

*Sigh* this is a circus on wheels...but who truly wants these wheels going? Certainly not us and not youtubers. Why the corporates, the shills, the 'fake fans' the so called 'journos' :) those articles are artificial attempt at building hype...heh it's not the first time these hollywood types are so delusional they don't grasp reality :). By the way...I would use the phrase "There is no chance in the Hells of Iron that Tolkien fan will like this..." and so on :) Seven Hells just...well fits the ASOIAF more ;), jokes aside this show from the beginning is just pandering and more pandering for the diversity and so on crowd and it's just a badly thought tumblr fanfic :) garbage (and it even insults some fanfic writers who at least have passion..of course the 90 percent of fanfics ARE garbage...very rarely are good ones...rare as gems among the rocks :)) it's also so typical modern corporate product that has nothing in it that would show any real respect for Tolkien and his vision! This is just a checkboxing focus group testing and whatnot crap I've ever seen...the showrunners are just thinking that they are saying what the supposed audience want them to :). But it's also the clearest that this show IS NOT ADDRESSED to Tolkien fans...just casuals :)...and they seem to fail even at capturing normies attention :). The typical talking points the same general stuff they talk about...oh big battles things go wrrrrr ughh. Amazon amazon you morons....it's almost sad to see how clueless you are...if it wasn't entertaining to see their pathetic attempts.

Also Neil I'm sorry but by Neil Gagman's standards of socialism I must name you a rapist. You clearly had power over this person as her boss and abused that power......Your standard Neil not mine.

Good Omens 2 is azz! Absolute TRASH. He hired some guy to write it. Obviously Terry Pratchett was the real mind behind Good Omens. He and Amanda Palmer were “open relationship” morons, and we see how that went for them. He support David Tennant and Michael Sheen in their antics. He also did attack at least one fan online. I guess he likes using his power! 🤮 They worship him on tumblr.

I remember one interview with Abnett discussing one of the later books in the HH. There was a duo of a books describing same set of events, one from the perspective of Thousand Sons and second from Space Wolf perspective. When given option to choose, he went for the Space Wolves because he didn't care much for them so writing from their perspective sounded like an interesting challenge. Sadly there was a gap between the books because Abnett got diagnosed epilepsy so he had a bit different priorities for while, but Burning of Prospero is still one of the best books in the series. As far as Horus Heresy goes; I doubt I am first to warn you about this but while there are awesome stories all the way through; there are some very much skippable books that really fell more like anime filler arc than anything. Essentially mid portion lost some coherency until it picked up again towards the and and finally got on with the story.

Love the horus heresy era, larger than life characters, learning about chaos, the struggle for Terra, Dorn's indomitable spirit and stoic defiance, Sigismund coming into his own hunting down chaos champions, Garviel Loken's one man crusade to crush those who betrayed him, Barabus Dantioch the chaddest giga Chad to have ever chadded single handedly holding the Schardenhold for a year against insurmountable odds showing what iron within iron without truly means... They're fantastic

Good morning. After having bought Eisenhorn I have made an about face. I want to go straight to Abnett's magnus opus - the climax to the Horus saga with the Siege of Terra. This strategy seems to work very well. Basically I read the first four books of the Horus Heresy which (hope this is not spoilerish) sort of wraps up the initial story, to then move on to the climax of the saga covered in the Siege of Terra which was just concluded by what some call Abnett's magnus opus in the trilogy 'The End and the Death'. So far so good having started the first Siege of Terra novel - 'The Solar War'. It flows rather seamlessly from the first four books. I am sure the 40+ books in between are not just filler and there are some classic tales among them, but so far so good. Been an episode or two were I realise the author is referring to previous events covered in them, but here I have been using chatgpt to ask about those references. Now Terra is under siege and I have got some 10 books to enjoy the entire climax to the Horus Saga. Good stuff. That Eisenhorn book will still be waiting for me when I am done. The Emperor Protects :) Don’t praise the day until it’s night, Don't praise your wife until she’s buried, Don't praise the sword till after the fight, nor your daughter until married, Don't praise the ice until it’s crossed, or the ale till your sloshed. But, so far so good :)

These books are such a massive grift, it's utterly ridiculous. You can tell most of the people shilling for Eric don't really read comics, and if they do, they won't really criticize his stuff, even if they know it's painfully mediocre. The only thing Eric ever "wrote" before these are the super cheesy lyrics for his metal band. Anybody else see that completely terrible "Yaira" live-action trailer? For someone who talks so much shit about bad writers and creators, I can't believe he let the Soska sisters join in on the "Rippaverse" (such a dumb name, also). He should've started by making one really GOOD story, not trying to kick start a whole "universe" (which all seemingly takes place in Texas). I'm happy to see Chuck Dixon being able to write some new stuff, cause Marvel and DC certainly aren't hiring talented veterans like Chuck anymore, but there's really not a whole lot of space for Chuck to do his own thing inside of the "Rippaverse" (god, it's such a stupid name, i can't get over it). I think i saw that Chuck was working on the Alpha-Core books, but I haven't read those. I've only read Isom #1 and the Alpha-Core characters were pretty non-descript and lame in that book. Maybe good ol' Chuck can make them interesting, but I haven't seen it yet. They just seem like "some characters", nothing special about them at all. As for Isom himself, he's basically just Bible-Man, and there's nothing cool or interesting about that either. Not to mention, as you said, the price of these books is ridiculous, AND he's even trying to get his own goofy trading card thing happening (for some reason), with those "Dokumon Cards" or whatever he's calling them. Then on top of the already ridiculous prices, he's trying to upsell people to buy "graded" versions of brand new books. Theyll never be worth anything. He needs editors, badly. Isom #1 could've literally been shortened by 2/3rds, and the story wouldn't have lost ANYTHING. There's so many filler pages that it makes reading the damn things such a slog to get thru. Then he brags about how his books are all 90+ pages, but only about 30ish pages actually move the poorly-constructed story forward.
