That big ol fat red one looks like a Dietz Jupiter 2500 ! Holds a ton of fuel and burns a real long time.

Thank you for this video. However it seems to be too much work to check the safety features.

The quality of the food is the biggest one. The sweet pickles we used to get out of the cellar at Grandma's house were SO much better than anything you can buy at the store.

Would love to come see you in person - any chance you’d be working on something I could observe?

I would definitely buy this. Right now I use a scrubba and air dry what I can and use a machine for heavier items since I can't wring them out. Love the simple life.

I have the extra large drying rack - I bought it about 30 years ago and it is as good and strong as it was when I bought it. I got the small one about 5 years ago and it's just as wonderful! EXCELLENT drying racks!

Thinking about making this. Have been looking for many months for a ready to purchase unit. The only one I’ve found is Grain Maker Homestead Huller Kit for Model No. 99 for $275. You’d need the mill itself for $775. Replacement rubber pads are $47. Website doesn’t say what kinds of grains it works on to dehull.

After years of maul and fro use l have realized a few things. The majl and fro are very hard on hands. The main use for these tools should be light stuff like shingles and siding. For log splitting, an axe and mallet are the best tools, if you want to keep your hands from being beat to a stiff and painful pulp.

We get the wick soaks up the oil from the bottom up. Still it is cotton which is combustible, why doesn't it burn up "along with" the oil? Or maybe it does but at a slower rate? Help us understand.
