my goxlr app just dropped an update to software and firmware... and they added submixing... and it seems to be a great implementation.. I saw this video 10 months ago, and I'm stunned right now!

TC Helicon just released an update! 1.6 introduces submixing! (WTF IS SUBMIXING?!)

Goxlr isnt dead Harris, they are working on the Goxlr 2.. Canada office shut down but they moved to Norway and we all got a new update today

What's a good option to keep on your desk if you don't have or want a mic arm mounted on the desk? ? I got the first version of the hyper x microphone on sale forever ago. It's been fine for me but I have been looking at something new because mine picks up on outside noise really badly because I have to turn the gain up a lot in order for it to pick up my voice while it's on my desk

I think you need to update the video with a pinned comment. The GoXLR by TC Helicon is still receiving updates and will continue to get updates. Yes the team was laid off, but it's still getting updates.

Is there any way you can review chrome link without it instantly being captured on OBS by using window capture? Like not having it detect on a secondary monitor and then dragging it into a primary monitor without OBS instantly detecting chrome so you can pre-review it first? I know you can do it with display capture, but I feel like it comes with too many drawbacks, so I'd prefer if it's possible to do it with window capture with chrome, your steam page ect.

from someone who has worked more with audio tha gaming or streaming, here's my two cents: If you are serious about your audio, don't buy all-in-one stuff to save on desk space. get a low side table and get a separate mixer with usb interface, and an xlr mic. going modular means that if any link in the chain breaks it can be replaced without throwing out the whole setup.

I bought the HyperX Quadcast like 4 yyears ago because there was just no option in the audio world with a propper stand. Audiio companies should make microphones with good stands instead in forcing people to get an arm (which i can't because i have a glass table). I dilike gaming brands, but there wasnt really a choice back then.
