Actually, it's the other way round: the case is all stainless, the bezel and pushers are titanium.

Hey. Really nice video. Going to buy my first Rolex. Would be my only one for a while. Would wear it in parties or occasions. Really confused between this or the rose gold option ? What would you suggest ? Thanks

@yashpatwari6574 Congrats! Tough call btw YG and RG, it's really just your personal preference. I'd recommend trying both on to see what you like, even if just try on the exhibition models. I feel YG is always a classic where RG is more modern and eye catching.

You know what's sad is that the original 126710LN A.K.A (The Black Panther) is the watch that paved the way for the Rolex GMT ceramics and this watch in review is really no different just a shade of gray on the bottom bezel with a10k price above retail. Really give me the 126710LN Black Panther any day.

I just got the Ultra 2 and I have very small wrists. I love it. I wear long sleeves a lot so no issue with it looking odd or too manly. I can go to the gym without my glasses and see all my workout programs, etc. I'm pretty sold on it.

Colored GMT bezels look like kiddie watches, quite unattractive and like toys. The best looking Rolex GMT watch is the newest GMT with elegant and classic Grey/Black bezel that puts all the rest of the red, blue, green and root-beer colored bezels to shame. I just bought the new gorgeous GMT which is called the Bruce Wayne model. If you too, like me, have good taste then look for Rolex GMT II model 126710GRNR.

The new Rolex GMT II "Bruce Wayne" model is the best looking GMT model of all. I never liked the red, blue, green and root-beer colors that are available on the other models. They make the Rolex look like a kiddie watch and cheaper. But this new model with the Grey/Black colors looks chick, grand and classic. I liked this new model so much that I bought it.

@BfSkinnerPunk I'd think so because there more real estate to display the same info. I think if this watch is primarily used for activities, running, sports, the 47mm is a great choice. But if people like to also wear their Garmin going to work (to track other stats) where you need to wear dress shirt, 47mm is too thick to fit under the shirt cuffs.

Such a cool watch. Great video too. Covered everything and I really enjoy the way the video comes across as "true to reality" quality rather than too soft or processed. Almost feel like I dont need to even visit the boutique :D I think the only way regular folks are buying this one is used. The price new is not really attractive. Used - choose this or a sports rolex? This is so much more interesting.

I have been waiting for a side by side review of these watches. I got the call for both watches last November. I bought both of them but regret the purchase of the ex1. It a lovely watch but I am always drawn to the Airking. My ex1 has not been worn which is a bit of a disappointment. The AK has a lot more character but is still understated, plus because of the 21mm bracelet the watch looks better on my 7.3/4" wrist

Hi, thank you so much for this review. I had a similar purchase decision challenge as to whether I should buy the 42 or the 47. I bought both and wore them for work and Tennis for a month. If you think look into this, the 47 looks a bit silly and I felt uncomfortable when I went to meetings due to its big size. Also, it’s very tall and wide and it’s almost impossible to hide under a nice wool jumper. I felt extremely comfortable with the 42 mm however when doing sports the bigger screen size was appreciated also the 42 doesn’t have the charm of the 47. If you are quite self-conscious the 42 will do the job extremely well as it’s practical and easier to use if you like to track your sleep for example. I decided to keep the 42 as it’s less of a statement as I wear a mechanical watch as well as a smart watch at the same time

Good day. I've seen other reviews on this same timepiece, and the same watch looks so much lighter (and better) than yours. I suggest next time you do a video, do about 1 minute, STOP, and watch it and see if everything is in order, especially the lighting!!!!. Truth be told I'm not a fan of the olive green dial and your lighting issues here do not help me to like it. Regards.

Good point, thanks. We are not a big channel and don't have the resources like other large channels who have the money, time, equipment and studio etc. to do better videos with better lighting etc. In terms of the green color, I have also looked at the mint green and the darker lacquer green on the OP 41. I feel the olive green and mint green initially look good, but over the long term, I'd go with the much richer lacquer darker green. Sunray green type of dial just doesn't have the depth as a blue. Another example, the new VC Overseas green dial is beautiful, but when it compares to the Overseas blue dial, the lighter green dial just does do it.

I think a bright orange gmt hand would have really popped on this watch. It could have easily carried off a nice bright colour in contrast to the grey and black bezel. This watch will appeal to people 45 and above imo.

For a normal mechanical watch, 42mm is my limit (my preferred size is 36-39mm). But for a digital sport watch, most people prefer a larger digital screen and based on my review of different sizes, 47mm is preferred by me. The larger digital screen on the 47mm is so much easier to view vs. smaller sizes. That's why for digital sports/exercise watches, I see both men and women tend to wear a size that's significantly larger than their non-digital mechanical watches.
