I recently stopped in the Rolex store in Caesar's. Absolutely no purchase history. Super friendly saleswoman and I tried on a few of the display models. On a lark I had her put me on the wait list for the white Explorer II. She texted me a few hours later and I picked it up. . 😂

Theres two Rolex stores in Caesars One of took my name for a Polar and the other one wouldn't even talk to me this was back in Sept. You got lucky

Congratulations! - I waited 2 ½ years for my Exp II (226570) Polar. Well worth the wait. It is an incredible timepiece.

The Exp2 Polar's the quiet jewel of the Rolex sports line-up, and you see less of them out in the wild than the ceramic Pepsi GMT. Congratulations.

I own several newer Rolex watches and I own this 226570 polar mid 2023 and I'm hearing from a few dealers that the polar are produced in less quantity compared to other references. I love my polar.

What are you seeing for wait times on Sub dates? Gray market dropping very rapidly on Sub. Some folks are saying 2 weeks to a month on Sub.

I have not been following the Sub wait time but I hope it's not too long. As you said, the gray market price on the Sub and many other Rolex pieces (except the most popular dial colors) have dropped a lot and most two-tones can be had at or below retail on the gray market.

I had my AD put me down for one 2 weeks back. I hope the time has picked up. were you at a big Ad or small place? The amount of product they get is relative to the amount of product they sell. Also thanks for the video and info.

@@hhcreviews It took 6 months. I just wanted to come back and give you a time update. Also had a conversation with my AD about time and demand. I was told it's starting to open up now. Date Just's are back in the case except for Blue and Green ( will be short time even for that desired ones). Looks like in a few more months it will be even better.

@lookingglass5867 Thanks for the update! Yes, with market and demand down significantly from 5-6 months ago, I think those long wait time is over (unless for a new Daytona or the Pepsi GMT which is rumored to be discontinued). This is good for the average consumers.

they can be found now in mint condition on the used market for around 9.500 EUR, that´s MSRP-price.....at least here in Europe...so no annoying waiting list AD game to play

Similarly here, a brand new one in the grey market is just slightly above retail. But again, why pay above retail when you are in no rush at all? For models like SS Daytona and SS Skydweller blue dail, since most people won't get it from AD even after years of waiting, I suggest go straight to grey market.

Brother...you had to wait the 16 months because IT IS getting the love the submariner and GMT gets. The Explorer II Polar Dial is an extremely sought after Rolex as we speak.

I have purchased the identical watch Polar white July 25 picked up. On a list for a brief time, with an A. D. Biggest Watch news of my lifetime 8/24/23 ROLEX...... Rolex cut out the Middle Man! Soon, get on a list with ROLEX!? I FEEL for A. D.'s Yes, there's the gray market 🙄

Congratulations 🎉 on a very nice watch. I have soured on Rolex. I just can't support a company any longer that has done what they have done to their customers. I have opened my eyes to other brands. It is amazing what is out there.

That's too long. A brand new polar on the secondary market is now just slightly over the retail price, worth considering that route.

Yeah, 3 years is a no go. I registered my interest on March 30th 2024. I'm giving my AD 6 months to come through, then I go w/ the secondary market.

16 months for the most bland watch company there is. I get it, it's a "rolex". But these days, the options for watches is so vast that this is simply an investment. But also, white dials have a soft spot in my heart, if I were to buy a Rolex, this would be it.

Again, everyone's situation is different. I got plenty of other nice and cheap watches to wear and I dont mind waiting. And I would not pay a penny above msrp on the secondary market, even though this one is only about $2-3K above msrp. Yes there are a lot of other options out there but those are not perfect either, from the movement accuracy to thickness, etc. I was very interested in the Tudor GMT (the new white dial) but at 15mm thick, just not gonna work for me. Also almost pulled the trigger on the Grand Seiko Tiantium GMT but didn't feel as good on the wrist.

@@MrKinghumanhe’s telling you why Rolex was competitive product for him in his eyes. Of course you’re entitled to your opinion but there are a lot of people out there that can appreciate what Rolex brings to the table. Some of those are even watch enthusiasts.

F😅 the Rolex AD’s and their BS. Got mine gray market and got a good deal. It’s bad enough that Rolex limits production to the point that the wait is so long, but then you have to put up with all the preferential treatment crap most of the AD’s pull. No thank you!

Remember that a photo or video for a watch will always look bigger on a wrist than it actual is. Is 42mm for my 6.5 inch wrist big? Sure it is but "WAY too big" is too much exaggeration.

@@whereRbearsTeeth I have to agree...the lugs are not touching the wrist anymore but are hanging over, and not even a little......the watch is really too big for that wrist....
