I had that issue just last Friday, cog warning lit and smelt burning fluid or something...that's after a 35km drive. Turned off, everthing went back to normal, no light error, and car drove normally again. Haven't tried it again since i delivered it for detailing. Any suggestion as to what precaution I need to do when I drive it back home?

Any recommendations for loosening the turn dial? We have an old safe and it takes two hands to even wrench the dial clockwise- making resetting the tumblers to try the combination an ordeal. I've tried twisting the screw at the center of the dial to no effect.

That’s not a permanent fix though, I have the same problem and my gearbox is fine, goes through all the gears as it should etc etc but the light keeps appearing intermittently, I want to know if there’s an easy reset or does it need to be addressed professionally

@@harithsyahmi1016 Change the fuse 30 in your fusebox. Location might be top right corner but check your fuse map. Fuse 30 is either broken or your select sensor is broken. Get a new fuse and if the cog light wont go away then its the selec sensor

Thanks. This helped me open up the same model after my father in law passed. On the lower right of the door there was a sticker that looked like a serial number. It wasn’t. The first six digits were the combination. The remaining three digits were not.
