Hello! Could your please tell more about Statutory Declaration and how to get it certified?
@natashtepa
@natashtepa Күн бұрын
Hi there. Statutory declaration is a document they confirms your relationship to Canadian citizen or permanent resident. It’s a two page document that needs to be filled out and signed by your Canadian relative and then stamped by an authorized Canadian representative, like a notary. Your relative will need to bring it to the notary for signing and stamping. Do you have a relative that is Canadian resident or citizen?

My partner and infant kid (both canadian citizens) received an email for an interview; however, there are no slots available for the next 3 months across the two Canadian land enrollment centers. So, choosing a US enrollment center. How do we manage the US enrollment center for the Canadian officers to interview us? Do we just meet the US border agents at the enrollment center (if we get to book our appointments) for the interview? How do we then meet the Canadian border agents to complete the process of the interview? On our way back from the US or later so our application be completed?

Hi there. If you are going through a US land border crossing enrolment centre, they have combined interviews. So you would only have to go to one location, same as we did for our interview. You can also double check and call the specific enrolment centre you sign up for. Do you already know where you will be taking your interview?

I have my interview tomorrow. Thanks for the info. I recently applied for my husband and put through his application last week. When I did it I’m not sure if I filled it in right. He was born in Hong Kong when it was under British rule. So he had ( it’s has since expired ) a British passport. When I was filling in his application , I didn’t even think about it and said he only had one citizenship. I can’t figure out if in fact, he does have a second citizenship. He has a Hong Kong birth certificate but he is not of Chinese descent ( he’s south Asian ). He’s not a citizen of Britain … so I’m thinking, he only has one citizenship (Canadian ). Can’t figure this one out.

Hi there! That’s a really good question! It can be tricky with the countries or territories that changed the name or jurisdiction. But in your case, I think you provided all information to the best of your knowledge. If your husband only has Canadian citizenship now, and doesn’t have UK citizenship, you stated everything correctly. The officers might ask your husband about where he was born or whether he ever had other citizenships - in this case it would make sense to elaborate and tell them what you described here. The interview is more of a conversation rather than a test of your application knowledge:) so answer the questions they ask calmly, be concise, don’t dive too deep into explanations - just a “question-answer” format. Let us know how it goes! Good luck!

December and January can be colder, so do take sweaters and long pants. And take into account that it can be colder inside as they don’t have central heating and windows are fairly thin. Hi there! July is going to be a hot month in Istanbul and it would sure be nice to dip into a refreshing sea:) Even though Istanbul is located on the sea, it doesn’t have beaches in the central area of the city. You would have several options and they would all require a couple of hours to get to the beach. One would be to follow our advise mentioned in this video and visit the Princes Islands. There you’ll find beach clubs, some of which will have entertainment for kids like water slides etc. Another option would be to go a bit north towards the Black Sea - the water is a bit Calder there, but I’ve heard they have nice beaches as well. Look up Bamboo Beach or Kumköy area. An additional option would be to fly to the Mediterranean shore, but I’m assuming you’re limited in time and might find this too much of a hassle. Hope you can find the option that does your needs best. Enjoy your vacation!

From what I am learning, you can use Global Entry anywhere Nexus or Sentri is used, but not the other way around. And you get TSA Pre ✅️ with Global Entry. Each of the programs (excluding Pre ✅️) function the same. The difference is where they are avaliable, and to whom they are avaliable. Nexus is a jount program for US & Can citizens and is avaliable only at the US/Can boarder. Sentri is the sam for US/Mex. Where those two are in both directions, Global Entry is only one way into the US and at all/most entry points. All three of these are for air, land or sea entries. TSA Pre ✅️ make airport security faster and easier. I would challenge everyone, do your own research. And if I am wrong about anything, let me know. I am learning myself, and want correct information.

aren’t there any free public beaches in buyukada that the tourists can access or is it mandatory to enter through a beach club ?
@natashtepa
@natashtepa 2 ай бұрын
Pretty much all the beaches are private. The island has a lot of rocks and there’s no sandy beaches, and it’s hard to get there without a buggy or a ferry. So they do charge you some fee for that

What is the name of the last island that contains beach clubs and rented bikes?

Hi there! This island is named Büyükada and the ferry station is called Adalar. It’s the biggest island in the archipelago and has the most activities. Are you planning to go there for one day or also to stay overnight?

Is it possible to enjoy the sunset view and the same evening go back to Istanbul with a ferry?
@natashtepa

Last ferry from Adalar to Istanbul departs at 6 pm. So it’s more likely to catch the sunset when you’re already on the boat, which is great in its own way:)

I don't have a citizenship of my country all I had was ID which I threw it away but I do have PR card of Canada, how do I apply for nexus cause they require a proof of citizenship of my country, PR card which I have and a proof that I might visit US (in which I don't know what to add)

As stated in the list of documents, you do require a passport and PR card. If you don’t have all required documents available, you won’t be able to apply

What if I'm renting for a short period so i didnt change my address on my ids and documents since its a short term residence? Do i need to disclose that or should I just say i still live at home as my permanent residence thats also on my ids and application

I believe you should follow your official documents and residence address. If your actual residence is not mentioned on any of your documents, there’s no reason to mention it on the application either

Hello! Thank you for the explanation. Can you tell me about the travel form 5562? which city should be indicated, the first city of arrival or the city of destination? my husband worked in many cities in Poland, but crossed the border between Poland and Ukraine in one place by car.
@natashtepa
@natashtepa 3 ай бұрын
Hi there. You don’t need to specify each city you visited - just mention one main one that you stayed in the most. All others can be considered transit and are not required. Let me know if this helps or if you have any more questions:)

@@natashtepa thank you for your reply! Can I ask one more question? We took a photo a month ago according to the requirements for pr in Kazakhstan, will the officer be confused by the fact that the address and name of the studio are written in Kazakh on the stamp? Or is it better to take another photo here in Canada?
@natashtepa
@natashtepa 3 ай бұрын
@@NarArup as per official guide, there are no specific requirements in regards to the language of the note. As long as your name and date of birth are mentioned, as well as the date the photo was taken, you should be fine. Was the photographer's info hand written or stamped? And does it include the required information?

Thank you for the great, concise video. Could my wife and kid (both non-Nexus members but Canadian citizens) accompany me for the Nexus Interview at one of the Canada Nexus Enrollment centers? If they can wait I can get my interview done. Also, as a Canadian citizen, do I need to go through the 2 step process of interview?
@natashtepa
@natashtepa 3 ай бұрын
Hi there, great question! Your family can come with you to your interview, but will most likely be asked to wait outside of the interview office. Also, I do believe it depends on location, so if you are concerned, you may give them a call in advance to check. There are two steps of the interview: with Canadian and US border officers. You’ll have to do them both. What enrolment center are you planning to have your interview in?
@DS-hz6mt
@DS-hz6mt 3 ай бұрын
Thank you. The Lancedowne, Thousand Islands land enrollment center. Plan to do it on my next US trip, that's why I would have my family with me. I can get through the interview and continue my journey into the states for the family trip. The interview dates are available to be booked online, so should I still call them? The Nexus card applications for my family are still in process while I am at the interview stage.
@natashtepa

@@DS-hz6mt I'm sure you should be fine with letting your family wait for you outside of the enrollment center. As long as they have proper rights/document to enter US (which they should be with their Canadian passports). Good luck:)
