Curious - I am adding 2 mmpt controllers for solar. I was going to wire all directly to the batteries. I am thinking rather then having all those connections adding a separate + bus bar just for connecting the mppts to the battery so I would only need to have one cable from bus bar on each pos and neg instead - is that ok?
@angelamarie882 күн бұрын
I came here to learn how to connect batteries to bus bars but instead you taught us how to shrink wrap welding cables.

Exactly , that’s what I thought , plus I may be wrong but her surface doesn’t seem completely flat from table to machine I’d put a piece of cardboard to adjust size if that happens unless am a bit ocd when I see that. Otherwise it’s great table and nicely explained. I jumped from an industrial machine to a normal singer 4432 and realised I need a table 😂

Potash Road and Shafer Trail, in Canyonlands NP, are covered by your NP pass. I suspect that you only need to display your hangtag if coming from Moab on Potash, but you might want to call the park to make sure of the procedure.

Hi, would love to hear what your feelings were by end of year. We just can’t seem to get bookshark to fully understand and answer things for us, we have a very different child. He is 5, 6 next month. He started school last year into K, came out in 3rd grade. So the age or grades are throw aways for us,it does not help at all. And to make it worse, he is all over the place, 7th grade math, 3rd grade reading. Probably 1st grade writing, since he still write letters backwards at time, and he still writes big letters not tiny. So we are thinking level C and maybe do it in depth. Would you suggest this. He reads okay, he can read Magic Tree House, but still likes us to read with us, he reads a page we read a page, so we are thinking level C, it looks more like chapter books, do you agree. On math we are very all over the place, we thought Saxon at first but now thinking beast academy. Anyway, anything you can help or suggest would be great. We never thought of homeschooling, but we don’t want a 6 year old in middle school so we need to do this. Also we are Florida, and he did get PEP, which means he has a scholarship thru the state to homeschool, $8169 I think, so we are good paying for anything if there is anything you suggest that would be better.

Very informative. Mice have chewed through all of our plastic vents. We went to louvered metal vent covers with wire mesh. Now we spray Mouse Free and wait. We already sprayed mint oil everywhere.

"It's not a race." "I'm sitting here at a comfortable 45." I'm chuckling because there used to be road raging commuters. That would be pulling their hair out at these epiphanies. hee hee hee. But not any more. They're nearly all gone. And no, it's not due to the work-from-home trend. There's just no jobs.

Thank You for posting your informative video. Unfortunately, I am viewing it too Late. My travel trailer in NH was a mess. I did use a bleach solution of a cup of bleach to a gal of water and sprayed wherever or suspected a mouse trail. I noticed when I sprayed the bleach i seen a brown/maroon color appear on my campers' surfaces. I did though out my shoes and slippers. Thanks for the time and effort you put into making your video. A great learning experience.

High-voltage alternating power, generated by hydro-electric motors designed by Tesla, was first used to power mines around Alta, more specifically the Gold King mine. It was the first industrial use of alternating current for anything other than light bulbs. A lawyer and banker in Telluride had a lot invested in the mine, but the overhead of using coal and wood to generate steam to power things was killing them financially, to the tune of about $2,500 a month, plus $50 a ton to deliver it. The banker, L.L. Nunn, who owned the only bank in the county in Telluride, convinced Mr. Westinghouse in Pennsylvania to help design and finance the hydro-electric plant several miles downhill in Ames, Colorado, which is still there and operating. Alternating current “travels” much more efficiently than direct current, and wires were strung up the hill to Alta and the mines near it. The power was not “made” there, and chances are Mr. Tesla never went there. Mr. Nunn, on the other hand, ended up wealthy and the technology spread rapidly, even as far as the hydro power at Niagara Falls.

Beautiful fall colors! I did this loop with my cousin and his family back in 1998. I believe we did the loop in the opposite direction. My cousin was the one in charge, and I and my girlfriend were kind of tagging along. We had two vehicles: cousin had a mid 80s (84?) Ford Bronco, and I had a relatively stock 1986 Toyota 4Runner (which I still have). Neither vehicle was really challenged by the loop, although I have memory of a really steep hill that I was thankful I didn’t have to stop on and get started again, and there was also a switchback above timberline that I remember having some rock shelves where I was having a bit of traction loss going up them. Would like to go back someday…

For anyone who has driven this. Would a stock outback wilderness make it through no problem? 9.5 clearence.
@RVHomeschoolАй бұрын
You may want to check with rangers at Canyonlands to make sure there isn’t any wash out or problem areas, but when we went I would think an outback would be okay.
@johnhenderson176021 күн бұрын
I drove it four weeks ago in a stock JL 4xe (rental). At home, I have an Outback (not Wilderness) and think I would have been fine in it. There are a couple of rock ledge "stairs" on the road, but each ledge was only a few inches. On the plus side, all of the trails in Canyonlands are two way, so if you see something you don't like, you can turn around (although that may spoil your plans for the day).

@RVHomeschoolАй бұрын
We normally deflate about 10 below what is normal. So we normally are at 40, but deflate to 30 on most trails.

Videos like this are a great help to plan off-roading trips since my wife is terrified of heights and roads without guardrails. My wife and I are planning to buy an off-grid travel trailer to tow with my 2022 Power Wagon so I can park the trailer so my wife will have a nice place to hang out if I go do some off-roading that would make her uncomfortable. Having the trails marked "Easy", "Moderate", and "Difficult" is great information to have also since I'm not overly interested in damaging a $75k truck nor at the age of 70 having to dig a truck out or walk out of an alpine area. I did all that sh!t when I was younger.

I was 15 yrs old My dad had a trailer there in 1985 not a hole lot has changed can't remember if it had a fence up around the pool area we were to the left of the center pool area set up. They didn't have a lot of stores and stuff up yet near by so was nice and quiet I lol met a friend got a bit drunk and rode a bike and bit it behind the launderer mat they had back there lol scraped up my face pretty good. Went to Universals the next day and had a picture taken with Frankenstein guy that was in the area when tour was done, got a button with my pic on it lol funny times back then. They surely didn't have a lot of trees back then as they do now.
