Why it will stop and show the error sign later it will start and stop. Why .

So we got the new latch lock that was specified for the model of my GE washer and it did not work nor did it match the parts specified on the QR code on the washer itself. Sent that part back, ordered another and after installation, it finally allowed the washer to fill, and then it stops as the lid lock is still not working. Help!

Ok I put the machine in test mode, and it was fine, then in Manual mode, everything fine, but when I tried to run it , the sensing light come on and it does nothing, I put a lid lock, Actuator, and cam,...nothing! Only work right when in test mode..must be a bad board 😢, so I'm I right? Oh the water valve work fine.

What if it flashes sensing,wash then done?

You can replace this without taking the machine apart no proiblem.. i removed mine today

Do you have a link for the replacement suspension rods? Or know the OEM for them?

Have you looked at newer appliances? They're all potted to hell so you can't get to the board. They're also using coded chips so you can't swap boards. So annoying, this should be illegal. We need Right to Repair!

My drain pump is good after checking ohms. Cleared the drain hose. Did the whole test as per the manual. Checking ohms at the mother board everything checked out good. Replaced the mother board, drain pump, shift solenoid and still no drain. I’m at a loose with the Maytag.

My springs aren’t broken. I guess they don’t have to wear much to cause issues. Are the new springs pretty stiff ?

Hi you were one of the best with the most discriptive videos I’ve come across but I do have the exact same washer but mine stopped it’s cycles and the lid lock switch was locked when my daughter tried to take the clothes out my son told me when she told him he tried to open the lock by pushing the lock mechanism open but couldn’t get it so I don’t know if that also mess up the slide part of the lock I have not replaced that but the first thing I did replace was the switch lock which the light was blinking before I opened the back up to get the washer lid open after replacing the switch lock it didn’t seem to make a difference so I replaced the shift actuator and it still didn’t fix it. So I bought a new hub because another video said that it may be stripped and slipping underneath but when I got it off it didn’t look perfect so I bought another one but didn’t put it on yet because it didn’t look like the part/shaft under there was moving I did pull the motor and try to test the ohm resistance but it seemed to have good values according to another video I did return/exchange the first new switch lock and get another one put that in and still no luck. The lock does not lock still I hope you have an answer for me hopefully an easy and cheap one thanks

Before or after you put in the replacement rods, be sure the washing machine is level. Some floors that the machine stands on are not level so be mindful of that. Make sure there is no wobble from corner to corner, also.

Thanks for superb video. My Samsung DV45H7000EW/AC was making a very loud grinding screeching noise. The problem was a dry, worn out rear wheel bearing, just as you indicated in the video. Your disassembly and reassembly instructions made my job fast and easy as they matched my model exactly but as you say, it applies to a wide range of Samsung dryers that share a similar mechanical design. All rollers on my unit have plain bearings. They have been lubed as recommended. Parts were obtained locally, over the counter, from a small appliance parts dealer a few minutes from my home. I figure your video saved a $250-300 repair bill. Thanks again!

I swapped out the part and it instantly fixed the agitator problem (it used to start agitating as soon as I started the cycle) but after my first load, that extra, unwanted rinse happened again and the clothes were wet in a pool of water. If you have been oiling the fan for some time and it is still slow and jammed , try putting a some diesel on the motor, turn it with your hands and leave it to dry. Then put some WD40 and try it on. It works like new.

These washers are dogsh*t. Ive had to work on my nieces washer 3 times already, twice with the lid switch mechanism breaking and then repairing the control board once. Now it's the clutch, apparently, and thanks to your video I know that it's super simple to replace! You're awesome!! (If it f*cks up again after this, then it's off to the graveyard 😂)

Quick question. Where did u see the pump ohm from 15-30? Mine says 13 and my actual pump is 31.5. So I’m assuming bad pump but if I go off ur range it’s not too far off and should work still

I'm about to do my 2nd Lid Switch replacement. It kind of takes one spray of water and stop. 2nd spay and stop. When it does the 3rd time, the sensing lights illumitanes but the spraying is about 3 seconds before stopping. If its bad, it happened within a month after I replaced it for the first time
