3:06 my personal headcanon on why chara can "destroy" the universe at the end of a geno route is that they are not actually destroying it but resetting but with you not in control giving the appearance the universe was destroyed from your point of view effectively tricking you into forcing a reset to prevent you from doing another geno route

go to settings, top setting should be "shiftlock", please for the love of god enable it, it makes combat 250% easier, and alot more fun since you have more control. its VERY important to combos and ranged attacks.

@@Spiffy131 ah, well in that case I would suggest you use the shiftlock, it makes things so much easier. Also I can give you a few tips that probably weren’t in the videos you watched. 1 - don’t constantly hold block, only use it when you know a blockable attack is coming. Relying too much on your block can cause experienced players to adapt to that playstyle and overall turn your habits into their opportunities. 2 - after using lapse blue unlock and use your mouse to directly do the follow up. Doing this invalidates any evasive used during lapse blue. 3 - after using rapid punches, change the direction your looking quickly. This may throw them off and prevent they from using their evasive to punish you. 4 - when using Gojo’s special turn your camera around quickly before the teleport happens. When you do this you’ll instead end up behind the opponent, allowing for easy combos against even good players. 5 - NEVER use hollow purple outside of your domain unless you don’t have a choice(no domain or in a domain). Save the purple for your domain to guaranteed the win, without purple there still is a chance, a slim, one, that they survive.

I don't completely understand just how important was this person you're talking about (he one that supposedly did something amoral) was to the development of the game, but comparing his life choices to his actual work doesn't sound right at all I mean, the developers don't get profit at all from their mod as far as i know, and the game itself doesn't include anything that might be related to the sort of things he did, so it doesn't seem fair at all for people to compare the game directly to that person in terms of -"this creator was bad so we're not going to appreciate what he participated on making anymore"- Just saying, this is my personal opinion on the subject and i know not everyone thinks exactly as the example above either

Might be wrong but i feel like chara got their ability to destroy the world or "reset" from the player, like they prob got it from the player's ability to respawn, reset and delete Since undertale has talked about reset, respawn and such a lot i see no reason why chara couldn't harness the power lol as they said "since when we're you in charge" probably indicated that chara is frisk but op idk

Sure, you might’ve watched videos like this, but what you might not have realized that what Chara did right was significantly more talked about than what Chara did wrong. To start off, Chara is smart. They knew how to speak in a formal manner as a kid (as shown at the end of the genocide route) and in the Japanese translation, Chara speaks a harder and more advanced Japanese style of talking (which sadly I forgot the name of) than the other monsters. This also means Chara is smart enough to understand the difference of good and bad, and during the genocide route, chose the bad. Another thing; Chara called thousands of monsters who probably have a family pointless. The echo flower states that there are over a thousand monsters in the underground. You kill about a hundred. Chara not only calls them pointless at the end of the genocide route, but they also erase the world; they die because of Chara. Another thing; this video states that Chara isn’t a VILLAIN. The video does not say Chara is good or pure.

Actually, the mentions of Kris and Chara being so similar gave me a good idea. Possibly, they are so similar because they ultimately share the burden of being at your will. Their future is in your hands. Each, fighting back or taking control away from you at some point as well. This makes me think with being so similar, both in personalization and in actions, ultimately that is Kris’s role in Deltarune. They are their own person, like Chara, and their role will be made by you. You can make Kris a kind and caring person, even helping them through what seems to be hard times before you arrived and surround them with friends to help them. Or make Kris wallow in Despair at abusing and manipulating his own friends and ultimately push in them further into the concept of strength until it’s all they know. Same as Chara did except with…. More freezing and less murder.

I disagree slightly I think while Chara isn’t evil they do clearly have evil or violent tendencies given their plan with Asriel was to kill humans on the surface and in the genocide route they almost immediately start encouraging the player’s violence.
