Hi, love your videos. However, be careful when describing negative behaviors and having your drawings create racial sexist stereotypes. Like the yelling angry Black woman here in this video (2:31).

In the future, whenever you make videos, please do NOT cover the writing on the screen with a video of your face! I want to be able to read whatever it is that you thought was important enough to write it down! (the 12:19 mark on this video, for example)

other tips: NO SURPRISES, hold hands throughout an activity then let go then hold again as you up the difficulty, celebrate a really well done assignment by hanging it near your desk and constantly using that as proof to show the student he/she has done amazing work in the past and can do it again, i can go on. this is my 21st yr in sped teaching...

Thx. This playlist is helping me review everything. I bought the slides 3 years ago and need to get recertified. Is the material enough to get me recertified despite the changes ?

A method I use is convert gifted students in little teachers. If they finished first them homework, they will help another students. This method helps Gifted students the freedom of movement and learn "learn for teach" and no learn only for good grades.
