I appreciate the effort, as much as it is exiting to create everything with 3d printing, significant better results can be achieved if all machining technologies are used together (together with all materials) according to to its best use-case scenario. Par example metal inserts for screws have significantly better performance then 3d printed screws. Then instead of printing flexible filaments, making cast form from pla and then casting flexible gives much better result. Of course it’s not possible to cast every form. I find seeking combination of materials and machining technologies give significantly better result than just pure 3d printing. It worth saying that there is sometimes significant investment in tools other than 3d printer. This also has to taken into account.

Also just a reminder not to follow your followers. Some vocal minority complains that you're not like all the other popular youtubers. If you were mimmicking what everybody else did and made the kind of videos they made then you would have no reason to exist. To be or not to be. That is the question.

Thanks for the video, but it really left me wanting to know way more than you really went over. Being multi material, I have liked to actually see material changes and how much is wasted. Also, it didn't seem like any of the prints turned out to what would be considered good quality. Seems like there was an excuse for each issue. We all know it can take some dialing in a filament profile but should be able to get at least one type printing well. Left me very unimpressed with the performance of the machine.

Yeah that was an oversight. And yeah, this machine (software wise) wasn’t ready for a proper review, hence the first look. Sorry to disappoint!

Love the little filament icons to denote which filament is being used on screen, but would love if the color of the roll roughly matched the color of the filament, especially when there are multiple at once so you don’t have to pause it to read through them all and figure out which is the blue and which is the orange and which is the brown

You’re mistaken. The US gives Israel $3B a year in credits, which we must use to buy American weapons, bombs, and planes. IE that money goes back into American pockets as salaries and taxes…. It doesn’t stay in Israel. With that said, our aerospace industry then guts the planes and replaces them with better electronics, which we then collaborate with the US to help improve their technology. Iron Dome, for example, VASTLY outperforms the Patriot system that the US wasted BILLIONS developing.. and it only got better when Israel shared back the tech we developed. So… the Americans win twice. Also, did you know that the first time the F35 was actually tested in combat was by Israel? Did you know that Israel was the first country ever to intercept a missile from space? All that data is shared back to our allies… not to mention all the intelligence data we share. so I’d say those $3B in credits are a bargain, no?

I hope when you do a full review you really compare the printers construction, color changing waste, and ease of use vs the bambu A1 combo. Their prices are close enough that im really wondering if the kobra3 is worth it. Sure it has a fillament dryer, but afaik the axis are just roller bearings not even liear bearings vs the A1's linear rails

How on Earth does any reviewer of multi color prints not show the purge system and waste it generates compared to other brands? Also, I will always be skeptical of any reviewer who is paid by the manufacturer of the product shown in the video. Yeah yeah i know "my opinions are my own" but really...if you are getting paid and want to get paid and sent products in the future, are you really going to be that critical? And those prints don't look all that great either.

If Anycubic makes that ACE unit work on other brand machines.....Bye bye Bambu. That would all but crush Bambus AMS proprietary system. As it is there are ZERO reasons to buy the Bambu A1 over the Cobra 3. C3 is faster, newer technology, takes up less room, and costs a lot less. The only people I see buying the A1 over this is Bambu fans and brand loyalists
@thenextlayer
@thenextlayer Күн бұрын
Maybe. There's something to be said about Bambu having 100% perfect profiles out of the box, and AnyCubic has yet to prove those. Also, maybe people don't like AnyCubic's slicer, but love Orca and Bambu Studio
@anthonylong5870
@anthonylong5870 Күн бұрын
@@thenextlayer Interesting, I didnt know Orca slicer was a Bambu only slicer, Odd how that must have just happened. and Bambu's slicer is nothing more than a Prusa slicer reskin...Also As far as Bambu having perfect profiles out of the box, Thats just false. I can say that 100% as I own 2 of them (P1P and P1S) and neither of them print TPU or PETG very well "right out of the box" with the stock profile. TPU you have to change the speed and temp settings and PETG you have to change Bed temps to get them right. I am not the only ones that experience this as I am sure you know.

Any fan, especially that loud being on 24/7 was a terrible decision.I saw another review the other day and the SV08 they bought has QA issues with the side metal frame pieces that screw into the bottom so sounds like it either slipping through QA or they were just trying to get orders out. You should homes6ask BIQU what it would take to work if am internal MQTT server on something like Home Assistant. The screen is great but the one downside is since it works over WiFi, probably using MQTT, they lag a little. I got an XTouch on my PS1 and works the same way so just something to know for anyone interested. I agree, the proprietary hot ends were a bad idea.I already know the Swiss3Dc Starlex DHB hotend will work but it's still preorder only. Unique system. With a CHR Bambu heatsink it will work with P1S/X1 using the DHB 24, 24mm of melting zone. They have different lengths, super suick nozzle change and can super dual ceramic heaters. Will work with any printer that has a heat since with uoword screw at the bottom, with an adapter for.precie length. 22, 24, 28, and 32mm were the options. The design is pretty ingenious IF it works as advertised. Downside is no preorder price listed yet. FYI, DFORCE trianglab has an 80W ceramic heater heater/thermistor for X1/1, so if this is JST it would work also. I hope it succeeds because places like DFORCE and Mellow makes a lot of custom parts for printers that sell.well, like the Endor 3(insert version here). With this being.opem source, would make it really easy for them to do so it's something you could upgrade over time if you don't have the money now, but will.down the line. Obviously it has to sell well for them to.makw.money doing so. I would LOVE to see you build a VZBot kit from Mellow 3D. The Goliath hot end is insane,, especially if you water cool it which is primarily for heat cream if I'm not mistaken. Might as well water cool the stepper motors also as they can get to 80C or above. It's basically a Voron on steroids created by the VZbot team which I believe is around 10 people. It's all open source so no kit needed but I've seen it so 2000ms/s and get over 80mm/s volumetric rate and 20000mm/s travel speed from corner to corner. All for the price of a X1 with AMS. Minus the 40 hour assembly and printing parts for it.

You blamed something other than the printer. Your room, or the filament or the rotation of the earth. I really think you should think twice about doing a review of a product in the same video that the manufacturer is sponsoring. It’s one thing to accept a free printer it’s another thing entirely to review it when they are sponsoring the video. Please keep your integrity and do better in the future.
