This is one of the best campus tour videos of Warwick I've seen here. I applied for a masters there, so I've been doing some research about campus and accomodation. One I liked wasn't in the video though, it's called Cryfield, but I really liked the tour! The geese and ducks were my favourite part lol. Thank you very much!

Hey Simona, nice video. Thanks for sharing your goals and the template. By the way, the link doesn't work for my as it says "You do not have access to Ali’s Workspace. Please contact an admin to add you as a member." Is that normal? Oh, and i like your voice! :-)

Thank you for letting me know! I think Ali (who originally made the template) has just changed this recently as the link does not seem to work anymore, even on his videos 😅 I think you should still be able to get the template by signing up to a newsletter: templateroad.com/ali-abdaal-notion-templates/ I will see what else I can do about this but thanks again for letting me know!

I only got it so I could get books to have on hand till I got around to reading them. 20 books instead of 10. However I did sign up for two years, to save fifty dollars.

One of the things you seldom hear people talk about is not having to do the ridiculous propping open of a book with bits of cutlery to read while eating. It just lies flat. - built in light - built in dictionary - can take notes without 'defacing' the book - stays the same weight even when you're reading War and Peace - carries a library of thousands of books when you're travelling - books can be acquired the instant you want to read them - tens of thousands of books are free I don't begrudge people their wood-pulp books. But the 'smell and feel' of paperbacks (that were scorned by serious book collectors even 30 years ago) is not the killer feature that beats all of the above for me.

I am studying computer science, using an iPad as a notebook, computer for programming , and I also like gaming on my PC, Reading kindle makes me be 24/7 on screen so I decide to have physical books instead, I also like adding them to my collection.
@fduniho2 жыл бұрын
A lot of good points. Additionally, it is easier to read at night or while doing aerobic exercise on a machine, which extends the time I spend reading. Since 2018, which is the year I first got an ereader with warm lighting, I have been reading 52 or more books per year.
@simplysimonaa2 жыл бұрын
That's so many books! 😁
@NickyM_02 жыл бұрын
The people who don't have a kindle or Kindle app on eg ipad mini are the ones that labour the 1 point about the physical book, which I agree but in every other way the kindle is better. If you have bad eyesight you can zoom on a kindle, you don't crease or dog ear your books, you can highlight and make notes in a kindle (I hate writing in physical books because I'm precious like that), you can also read the book and switch to audio (great when English not 1st language or just tired), you can see what paragraphs were popular highlights, you can book mark, copy and paste text to share, you can carry around hundreds of books with you on subjects you're interested in instead of lugging around heavy books or just 1 or 2, just soooo many advantages and this is to name just a few....

The blood will soak through without a plastic liner Pressure when sitting down will cause staining on chairs which is horrible for others and unhygienic on public transport How can you change when at work They will probably smell after a while A normal period loss is 200ml That is 11 of these pants at £6 for one? £66 for one period
@kleineteen80432 жыл бұрын
you wash them after you use them, so its 66 pounds for 2 years or so not for a single period also blood on plastic pads is smelling wurs then on reusable ones or this style of underwear its not normal underwear blood is not comming out it when you sit.... you need to change ones in a wile ofcourse you can change in a toilet old pants down, new pants up. put the used one in a lined bag to wash at home

@@kleineteen8043 somebjobs whete they check your bags and see that Also sanitary towels can work out to be cheaper than 66 over even two years and not using water soap and electric

It is the Netflix/Prime/Hulu of books. It is access to a huge library, but it's mostly indie stuff or not the best version of the e-book. It's more of a "buffet sampler." I collect manga comic books and it does have some, but it won't have the whole series. Unlimited will have most of the volumes, but the latter ones will only be for sale hahah. Good strategy if they want you to buy things in the end. I chose not to get it, even free. I already know what I want to buy and it's usually not available on Unlimited. Surprisingly, I might have a case for paying for Audible since that will have A LOT of audiobooks I would normally buy...
@bitteralmonds6662 жыл бұрын
Be careful! There are books that are unavailable as e-books. I found several of my favorites either as buggy, low-quality e-books from "Amazon Classics" or unavailable altogether. Try finding books by D.H.Lawrence, Jun'ichiro Tanizaki, Yukio Mishima, and Francoise Sagan in English - you won't! Also, this is definitely not applicable for oversized art and photography books, which will either need to be viewed on a hi-res color screen or be owned physically. Lastly, you have to be careful with proprietary formats all these e-readers use, of which Amazon's is infamous for. Digital e-books should be easy to transfer from device to device, but they are not! This is anti-consumer and keeps a monopoly going. And I say this as someone who owns several e-readers (Kindle, Kobo, Nook, Boox): An e-reader is supplemental to someone who is an avid reader. It does save space, it is environmentally-friendly, it has a screen that will prevent eye-strain, and it is very convenient in its ability to carry a lot of books within its internal memory. I am glad the Kindle Paperwhite suits your needs.
@simplysimonaa2 жыл бұрын
You make some very good points! While there are obvious advantages of an e-reader, it cannot replace all physical books! 😃
