Sometimes all you need to do is change your tires. 4x4 is sensitive. I thought it was the transfercase, but when winter came and changed to winter tires sound was gone

Are you sure that it has been set to 80% to save fuel? I think it is rather to extend batter life as loading to 100% is significant stress for the batter and may led to overheating as well.

I dont care about fuel, cause battery cost 160 eur and if you replaced every 2 years you won't save anything. Also lead batteries are best if they are charged 100%. And also very annoying if half of electronics doesn't work properlly.

@@vrcustoms7 thanks for your insights. I do not know if lead batteries are best if charged 100% but I know that charging them 100% degradates its condition and eventually that impacts how your electronic works.

Hey hope all Is well Just wanted to say thanks for this video I am having the same issue. I also had rear springs broken which were not detected by MOT now changed them but noise still there , I will change the oil this upcoming week. Was there any specific oil you used ? (BMW official etc) Also this issue I feel started when I changed the tyres what size tyres are your rear and front if you don’t mind me asking ? Thank you 👌🏼

Check also the front drive shaft snd rear. Oils for dif is standard, for transfercase use bmw oem or alterntives from ravenol, shell or febi.

No they did not. They repaired it, but it was again the same after some time and they didnt want to hear about it, they just sent me some cheap glue. I just reglued it back with glue few months ago with different flue. Also pedal broke in the middle of a sea. Great sup, but built quality is shit.

My 1998 GMC Safari had a new alternator and air conditioning compressor in the first year, starter motor in the second year, intake manifold gaskets and another alternator in year 4, and on and on. My 2012 F-150 has had 2 taillights replaced in year 8, battery and a recall for a transmission wiring assembly in year 9, a water pump in year ten. For far the Ford has been better than the previous 6 GM vehicles I owned, in every way possible.
