Two places to eat: You went to Rockin Tacos but Al’s there on the bottom floor has the most amazing seasoned fries, mixed drinks and pineapple teriyaki chicken sandwiches! Also when you were at the gas station across from Harbor Walk Village, McGuires food and pub is right there and it’s ranked #1 spot to eat in Destin! Their Shepherds pie and mashed potato balls are popular!

How do you access the electrical plug on the outside of the island when the counter extension is folded down?
@ChosenAdventures3 ай бұрын
well, unfortunately you can't. We decided not to move the outlet, instead we just raise shelf when we need to use it. The only time we really need it is when we plug in something like a toaster and in that case we usually have the shelf extended so for us it hasn't been a problem.

Hair raising? Shafer trail? Maybe due to living in Moab with a Hummer and a Jeep, there was noting hai raising about Shafer trail. It was a nice narrow switchback on a decent maintained (by the NPS) road. I guess is someone was afraid of the heights, might be worried. Now, do a video of doing Moab Rim, Cliff hanger, Seven Mile rim, Poison Spider just to name a few.

Are you asking about using the sink tops to create an extension? i would think that you could find a way to attach them to the hinge supports possibly with some epoxy or anchors?

Hey, glad to have you with us!! So previously we had a Camp Chef combo, grill and flat top. The we realized that we mostly used the flat top so we down sized to a 24" Blackstone. However, I recently purchased a portable TRAEGER RANGER pellet smoker which also has a flat top attachment and we really like it so thats what we mostly use now. Thanks for watching!

Reason that sites are so close to each other is because this used to be a private campground. I wish more state parks were like Silver springs State Park.

thanks for the video were heading out west this week , was wondering did you find the need to have a diesel container with you?
@ChosenAdventures10 ай бұрын
So on longer trips I usually keep 2, 5 gallon cans of diesel in the bed of my truck. The main reason is because our rig is big enough that we are not able to get in and out of most gas stations and usually go to truck stops to fill up. Gives us some peace of mind in case we get in a situation where there is not a truck stop close when we need it. So far we have not gotten onto a situation where we were in trouble. Out west I made a habit to stop and fill up before my tank got down to 1/4 full. There is definitely times where the truck stop and few and far between.

The huge satellite dishes you are referring to are most likely the Very Large Array (VLA) located in Socorro, New Mexico. The VLA is a radio astronomy observatory consisting of 28 antennas arranged in a Y-shaped configuration on the Plains of San Agustin12. The VLA is used to study astronomical objects such as black holes, pulsars, and quasars1. The dishes are used to receive radio waves from space and are capable of detecting signals from billions of light-years away1. The VLA is open to visitors every day until sunset. Visitors can walk along a self-guided tour trail that takes them to the base of the second dish. There’s also a “whisper gallery” made from two satellite dishes to demonstrate how they gather and amplify faint sound waves1.
