The 2022 Chevy Silverado LTZ HD 3500 Duramax truck. We upgraded from our 2017 GMC Denali 2500 Duramax and we absolutely love it! We have a number of add-ons and aftermarket upgrades that we added. In this video we cover all the features.

Does the rear differential on this have a drain plug or do you have to unbolt the whole differential cover to change the diff fluid?

Great looking truck I use a 2021 chevy carhartt edition 2500 to tow my triple axle toy hauler . 2500 or 3500 either one you can't go wrong . I own and operate a trucking company running hotshot and class 8 tractor trailer I've tried the ram cummins and the Ford powerstroke and neither on of those trucks can compete or compare with the duramax Allison combo. Got a 2018 2500 that has towed a 40 ft gooseneck since it was bought new 388000 miles later just regular maintenance and injector connections that's it runs great. You do know those numbers your talking about are arbitrary its how ever you want to tag and register that truck for weight just don't go over tire load rating and rgawr fgawr gcwr all of mine are tagged for 30000 lb on every hotshot truck which are 2500. No I'm not weight police but I love hearing those weight police voice in on weights and measure that don't even know what they are talking about if checked for weight they check gcwr rgawr fgawr and the license plate how much weight are you tagged license for nothing about payload that sticker refers to stock tires and wheels because the rear axle in the 2500 and 3500 chevy are the same except 1/2 inch on ring gear they are built for gm and ram by AAM (American Axle Manufacturer) and rated as follows 2500 11000lbs 3500 11500lbs.

Much of this video was shot on a Sony a7c and Mavic Air drone. Most of my other video's are shot with a Sony 6600, GoPro, DJI Osmo Action and DJI Osmo Pocket.

Great truck! I have the '21 2500 duramax Midnight Edition. Did you get rid of your factory 20's? Mine has the 18's and I was looking for the 20's.

no not all... even with the bags filled with air it's not a problem.

Is it better to use the gooseball instead of the 5th wheel hitch.

For me going to the Gooseball from the 5th wheel hitch was huge... no longer do I need to handle a big heavy 5th wheel hitch in and out of the truck, but it's also much easier and faster to hook up to the gooseball. The gooseball has built in air bags which does help with the ride and of course now there is no chucking either. So for me I would not go back to the 5th wheel hitch.

Does the sunroof open all the way or just partially ?

Yes it will open fully when retracted or you can choose to raise it up partially.

Absolutely zero reason for a 3500 instead of 2500 if you put air bags on

While airbags do make a difference in the way a truck will handle a load and even allow you to carry more weight, it does not change the amount of weight the truck is legally allowed to carry. So, in other words, adding air bags to a 2500 will not turn it into a 3500.
