Gorgeous ! 2 M ¥ to buy but how much did you spent until now 30 or 40 M ¥ ? # additif/ It seems many people have asked the cost…I live in Japan almost 50 years now- and I can tell you it’s pretty expensive what I’m seeing, with a carpenter, father & son for some years…could be totaled ~50M ¥ because Ibaraki not Tokyo !😅

You and they did a fantastic job! Thank you for sharing with us.
W Japonii przykłada się olbrzymią uwagę do segregowania śmieci... więc nawet nie umiem sobie wyobrazić ile czasu zajęła sama segregacja tego co po sobie zostawił poprzedni właściciel. Podziwiam.

If only Japan doesn't have huge tax on inherited homes, there would be less burdens to the kids if there are. Also maybe introduce more work from home jobs so people can move to rural areas.

This was a great video. Your house is beautiful. Thanks for sharing! Since our son is living in Japan, we are also thinking of getting an Akiya and moving. If you don’t mind, could you share how much the renovation cost you?

the notebook and the photos of the house in all of its glory, that really got to me. A family used to live here. That was wonderful.

Can I, kindly, ask how much appropximately did it cost so far (after the house purchase) to do all the renovation works and materials? If you did some of the stuff yourself, how much it would have cost if you had hired people to do the same? I'm inspired and trying to estimate what would it take financially for me to do the same Much gratitude!

When you buy the abandoned houses can you tear then down completely and rebuld from scratch?. As in you buy the land?

It is great video. I love the house. It has so much Shinto elements which kept the abandons house in good bone. You guys brought it up to next chapter of this house beautifully with a good energy.

Wow... I wonder why everything was left by the previous family or families of the home. It's weird that they left that many vehicles and just stuff. That's what estate sales or yard sales are for.

That roof & ceiling are magnificent. The tatami room is pristine. The woodwork done previously by the Japanese carpenter is superlative. I even fall in love with your blooming white flowers. You are so lucky 😊
