Here in the Carolina’s, you have to use a shotgun. Illegal to use a rifle. For those asking about meat loss etc., wild Turkey is not all that great. What projectiles where you using for the neck shots? Bonded bullets? I had the same issue with a Sambar using coreloks. Dropped him but he kept getting back up. The corelokt bullets just punched though. Id rather use them on the vitals. Got me thinking, is mine still out there?..
