Have owned Vizslas for 36 years! I love all dogs but the first Vizsla I owned changed my life! Incredible dogs and as long as I can care for one, its the only dog I will own. Unbelievable household members and over the top animal. Thanks for the video.

Once they've been worked and exercised, I would argue the foxy is one of the more snuggly and affectionate terrier breeds.

My Roméo is 3. I am training him to become an assistance dog. Extremely intelligent. Hyper as puppies, but they do calm down. Need a moderate amount of exercise. Working dog! They don’t naturally love water. Need to be introduced early on.

Prey drive is of the charts. If you can't let them hunt everyday for over an hour, don't get one. Not good with cats, or any small animal to be honest. If they were the size of a labrador, they'd be highly illegal.

I’ve had Brittanies for 54 years. Each one was precious to me as a companion. Several I raised from puppyhood and a few were rescue dogs. I’m 68 years now and miss having one. Maybe I can have one more.

I grew up with 2 German Shorthair pointers, aka “the pointer sisters” who were high energy! We lived in an orange grove so when many oranges have dropped if you picked one up and threw it amongst them they would use their noses to smell until they found the one orange you had your hand on! AMAZING dogs! We took them camping and fishing. They swim pretty good too!

Have you reviewed the Welsh Springer Spaniel? I have been considering this breed, hard to get. A tad smaller than the English and supposedly a bit calmer. Wondering if they share similar traits to what you've reviewed here or if they are different altogether? Thank you!

I have an 18 month old Landseer Newfie. Ichinojo thinks he's a lap dog (all 170 lbs of him) and he does bark when people pass by, but he's never been aloof around people. He's in his best element in the water - I take him to the beach near my house or up to the lochs and he heads straight for the water and doesn't come out until he's tired. He's been easy to train. He loves kids and my 5 year old nephew is his best friend. The biggest issue for me has been the drooling and shedding. He drools enough to fill a bathtub and sheds all over the place - it's important to set boundaries and not allow your Newf on the furniture. I picked up a beat up loveseat at an estate sale and that's the only piece of furniture he's allowed on. My vet recommends against neutering large breed males because neutered dogs are prone to lethargy and obesity, which can put a strain on the dog's bones and joints and cause a slew of health problems.

Had a great griff for 13 years and hunted him for 11 of those years. We hunted in Maine, the U.P of Michigan, northern Minnesota, South Dakota, Kansas and Illinois. All business in the field and a goofy clown in the home. RIP Magoo. You made us all laugh.

I have been researching this breed for awhile. I saw pne at a pet store and fell in love. I will buy from a breeder only after checking out them and the puppies parents. I just lost my 10 yr old goldendoodle a few months ago and now my 10 yr old lab mix has been diagnosed with a suspicious mass.😢. I am 69 yrs old and wondered since u all know the breed, do you think this would be a good breed for me to get?

I've been involved in Wheaten Terrier rescue for nineteen years. My wife and I do transport and sometimes foster. As such, we've seen it all. I agree that Wheatens make amazing pets. Currently we have a nine year old Wheaten, and we adopted a twelve week old puppy two weeks ago. We transport other breeds as well, we love all dogs, but for us there is nothing else like a Wheaten.

What a beautiful dog! And he's not drooling in the video - they always give an image of bloodhounds that they're ALWAYS drooling. lol I love scent hounds, and hounds in general, but I'm not sure if they'd be the right fit with me...

Best dogs ever. My first was a 50/50 mix half mastiff and half Rottweiler. She was awesome. Currently I have a pure bred female. She is 9 months old and weighs 143 pounds. Sweet, loving, fun, great with people. My girl is smart and stubborn. Right on with the size and what’s needed to have a Mastiff. I’d never have a different breed.

I have had 3 WHFT over my life time and so I can safely say i've seen it all when it comes to these dogs. I will probably always have a fox terrier through my life. I think their intelligence goes underrated, my second foxy, Oscar, we lost once on a walk in a field about 4 miles from our house, he bolted after another dog and completely lost trace. We asked around for an hour in the area then returned home when we were about to go put up "lost dog" posters in the local area. We opened the door to put them up and were completely mind-blown when Oscar was stood on our doorstep. The dog had walked 4 miles home on streets with cars either side of him.
