can you use a c clamp instead of the caliper tool?

@@daviedmx38 Hi, it calls for a caliper tool so I would not risk using a c-clamp…the tool is free with deposit at any auto parts store.

You do not need the special tool. All you have to do is put it in maintenance mode on your - and you can push it in as normal.

My 2017 Fusion blows hot on driver's side, AC blows cold on right, so I pulled driver's side upper actuator, BUT that acuator controls DEFROST, VENTS,& FLOOR. So now I need fiqure out which one turns off my heat on the left side. Summer is around the corner 😢. I think there is a dual climate control actuator behind middle console 🤔?

CaliPer, CaliPer, CaliPer! Caliber is the size of a bullet. Please do tell where the 35mm torque tool is used. What size allen wrench? Inch or metric? So do I just go into Auto Zone and ask for a "rental kit"? Last I checked, they had a whole shelf unit full of "rental kits" for different things...ball joints, universal joints, steering wheel pullers, harmonic balancer pullers, and many others.

This video has ALOT of misinformation...you HAVE TO PUT THE REAR BRAKES SYSTEM INTO MAINTENANCE MODE..IT WILL ALLOW THAT CALIPER PISTON TO BE ABLE TO BE PUSHED BACK INSIDE THE CALIPER..YOU SHOULDVE EDITED YOUR VIDEO BEFORE LETTING PEOPLE THAT DONT HAVE AS MUCH EXPERIENCE WORKING ON CARS...IF YOU DONT PUT IT INTO MAINTENANCE MODE YOU WILL DESTROY THAT CALIPER..YOU CAN FIND THE INFORMATION ON RIGHT HERE..ON KZfaq. AND YOU CAN USE A C-CLAMP TO PUSH THE PISTON BACK IN OR USE NEEDLE NOSE PLIERS BY PUTTING THE TIPS OF THE PLIERS IN THE HOLES AND TURNING THE PISTON BACK INTO THE CALIPER BODY..YOU DONT NEED TO GO SPEND MORE MONEY ON TOOLS THAT YOULL PROBABLY ONLY USE TWICE IN A LIFETIME..
