I think trump has that same “key in hand” on his family crest. Not 100% sure though

Can you imagine being one of the builders of that tomb. Getting the materials out there and then living there day after day building it. No hot shower or soft bed after a long days work

How did you learn about this place?

Lots of research, we’ve found quite a few in Scotland that haven’t been documented for years

Ancient? It's only 200 years old! C'mon people--Scotland has many tombs more ancient than that!
@escapade_z4 сағат бұрын
It does , but how many is there that haven’t been documented in a long time ? Like this one … there’s a lot you clearly still don’t know about Scotland

6:45 Right after the hand holding a key, a big iron key can be seen in the tomb with him.

It’s a pity that it has been abandoned and left to the elements to ruin.

Encore un site qui va être saccagé par les pseudo urbex... Laissez cette tombe tranquille, et soyez maudit de l'avoir dérangée. /// Another site about to be ransacked by pseudo urbex... Leave this grave alone, and be damned for disturbing it.

Everyone in Glasgow knows where this is. We all know it. Further along the line was Maryhill. The old trackbed and railway walls etc still exist under Tesco in Maryhill which was built on stilts in case the line was ever reopened. If Tesco would give you access that would be good.

It's so sad to such a glorious sacred space in an abandoned state. I think it's so sad that the days of memorials like it have seemed to have passed away since cremation is continuing to rise in preference. Things like this should be treasured, They are after all the history we stand upon.

It would have been nice to get a good view of the iron coffin inside of it.

This looks like the Knights of the round table. I was told stories that there is a tunnel under ground that led to a castle. The castle itself if it is still standing had a doorway they could open and go into. It was also used an escape route. Although it looks like some rebuild the structure. There is supposed to be stairs that they would ride on a horse or carriage down into it.

Must have been such a stately home, even if built in the 19th century. A total shame for the disrespect shown towards the deceased. What imbeciles would do such things. 😢
