Thank you for this balanced review. No climate control in bed would be my biggest con.

Tesla needs to make a Cybertrailer which has an extra battery pack underneath it, imo. Hope Elon sees your review

Obviously the most over-priced, least capable, worst looking EV truck available, well behind Ford, Rivian, Chevy. At least even Telsa fanboys are finally starting to realise how much of a conman Musk is

@BeardedTeslaGuy towing with custom fairing to shield the trailer will improve range. A Cybertruck vs F150Lightning comparison test with the same trailer proved that. The Cybertruck aero advantage becomes a disadvantage during towing.

I decided to grab a 2023 R1T Dual Max Performance . The deals they had last month, I got over $30K off between $7,250 friends and family discount, $7500 tax credit$10K off max pack, free performance upgrade, $3450 MY 2023 lease promo, free powered tonneau. $600 a month and no money down for a truck that is over $100K configured today! I love this thing.

The price is ONLY high right now. Tesla hasn't even scaled up production. Your final issue is the issue us early Tesla owners went through already. When we got our first Tesla, a 2018 Model 3 LEMR, i always got questions.

@bigdougscommentary5719

Your range complaints are of your own making. You said you drive at 80 mph. If you are driving that fast while towing a CyberTruck, no wonder you're only getting 100 miles. Drivinv that fast while towing is also illegal in most places. Therefore, your problem with charging stations not being close enough is a result of your driving choices. I have towed numerous times with my Model Y on toad trips and while pull throughs are scarce, NEVER been unable to charge. I have also towed a 5th Wheel and finding fossil fuel stations can also be a problem.

Nice to have the perspective of an owner with a fully functional vehicle. Cybertruck gremlins seem to be getting most of the attention at the moment.

Something not addressed in detail here is the level of build quality. I understand that it is tough to say too much with a sample size of one unit. A Cybertruck which I saw parked at a restaurant had rather uneven panel gaps and sighting along the belt line, the sheetmetal looked a bit wavy. I also noticed those gaps where the front facia meets the fender, and the gaps were pretty wide. I’m curious about how it will go in regions who use winter road chemicals. Those gaps look like they could be water traps. 300 series stainless is not completely impervious to salt water. I appreciate the thoughtfulness which went into this video and would be interested in seeing a six month or year later follow-up on how well the Cybertruck is holding up. At the very least, the Cybertruck will serve as a catalyst to get other manufacturers to step up their game. We’ve already seen Rivian respond by changing their R1T/R1S 2025 model year battery architecture to lithium iron phosphate and the electrical topology to a zonal architecture echoing Tesla’s.

15:52 SMH, if you plan on staying hooked to your load, all you need to do is jackknife your trailer then charge. Leaving your load out in the travel lane can cause a accident and or ticket not to mention getting cursed out. When in doubt figure it out. I talked with a Tesla salesperson in Chesterfield Mo, they plan on releasing 10,000 "foundation series"

Logically, the CT is not, at all, worth the hype - in so many ways. But hey, that's more of a problem with hype than with the Cybertruck. But even then, you have to like what you get and be relatively rich to pursue it.

My invite is still sitting there and it will remain. I am not buying any rear wheel truck , its a waste and I am not paying 80K for the 2 motor. The 2 Motor should be in the 60's and I'll wait for that or stay with ICE.

Thank you for the video. Very well done. I definitely love mine. The only thing I take issue with is I think it is by far the most comfortable Tesla. We have a model X and this is more comfortable and I have driven the model Y plenty and this is definitely more comfortable. I suppose seats are different for everybody, but with the air suspension the quietness everything, Cybertruck hands down.
@BeardedTeslaGuy
@BeardedTeslaGuy 16 сағат бұрын
I should have been more specific on "comfort." I was referring to the seat specifically. I think the seat itself is most comfortable/plush in the Model Y. The X and CT are about the same stiffness. Now for overall smoothness of the ride, this is by far the smoothest Tesla made...so good
