You have a really nice truck I just couldn't justify that price personally. I've checked them out at the dealership they're nice like most newer vehicles but it's just that shiny thing It seems like you got to pay more for what used to come standard. & I'm not a fan of turbocharged engines, I've had 3 different vehicles from 2017-2022 all turbo & I told myself once I get a naturally aspirated I'll NEVER go back. Glad u like yours that's what matters, don't worry about scuffs, that's just building character 🤷

I just purchased a 2024 Tacoma after test driving several different trucks and now I’m seeing all of these videos about them failing. Have you had any issues? I know any manufacturer can have issues especially with the high tech these days. I know Toyota will stand behind what they make. Would like your thoughts. Thanks!

This is my thoughts on the topic. All those videos are trying to get clicks and they do. I’ve had no issues with my truck whatsoever. Sure, there probably have been some cases where people have had issues but they are not wide spread.

Did you do much interstate driving with it (over 70mph)? I tow a boat about that weight with mine, but have yet to tow anything with as much wind resistance. I've been very surprised at how confident the truck pulls my boat, even compared to my Tundra I just sold.

Pro tip, your dealer can turn the seat belt chimer off. All you got to do is ask. Don’t spend money on something that can be done for free.

My 2020 Tundra has super soft paint as well. Feel like it's a Toyota thing. I rather wrap the vehicle than coat it. Its a truck though and if you're taking it on trails, I wouldn't sweat it.
