Hello i think you are mistaken saying that 220 is only 20 degrees from 180 It should be 40? Correct me if I’m wrong Great video otherwise

Help! I have this exact tape measure. I thought it would be useful, but i don't understand why the linear side starts so far from the zero?? The zero line is is about 5 1/2 inches from the hook.
@larkinpowell9 ай бұрын
Hi there. It is just made to measure as I show in the video. Just go around the tree and use the zero mark to read the reading. Or if you are not using in a tree just align with the zero mark at the beginning.
@ronsalerno20589 ай бұрын
@@larkinpowell thanks for your reply. I see that is realy only for measuring diameter now. Not very useful for me, since i only measure circumference/ diameter occasionally but linear constantly. I wish there was a version of this with the same hook and with flat tape but with conventional markings like on a normal carpentry tapemeasure

Where did you get these tiny ear tags? I am trying to find tags for my meat rabbits and I cannot find anything small.. idk where to look. None of the local farm supply stores have anything other than cow tags and chicken tags.

They are called banding pliers. One source is here: www.avinet.com/collections/banding-tools. I believe you have to have a banding permit to purchase.

Good introduction to sighting compass. I m a prepper and occasionally I go out and bury a cache of food. I mark my caches in my log with GPS location and just in case GPS is shut down I take a double bearings with a Lena’s tic or sighting compass. Where the bearings cross X marks the place.

Grateful to have you as a colleague, Leah! Sometimes I am overwhelmed by feeling unequipped to help students with their many mental health challenges. This is a great reminder that providing a safe space for them is a good start, and sometimes enough.

Leah - Thank you for sharing your story. I very much enjoyed it. I have many similar stories myself. The safe space concept I agree is crucial. I am glad my students feel my office is such a space. I have many that come by seeking life advice, someone to listen, or just to chat. Life is stressful and it is nice knowing we are helping our students in multiple ways to be successful.

Hiya, I was wondering where you got the supplies and/or if there are other companies you would recommend. I've got rats that I'd like to be able to tag to keep track of who came from which sire.

Oh sorry the video is actually made with the Communication Specialists model that is no longer sold. It was awesome at about $700 but they stopped making it. I bought Telonics to replace for the students to use in this course.
