Good question. I have no remote and when I click on the power button and click source it says not available. Can't get off this screen 😢

The magic ufo controller provides the 12v dc power.

@@alanl2110 Nothing into the balboa. The magic ufo is independent of the lighting inside the spa.

Yes, I was shipped 3 hot tubs, they all were leaking. It was a real pain, b/c the spa needed to be at the road side.

@@Steinmetz1 this maker makes almost all the big box store spas. I guess you can download the warranty specs from the seller website to see who is building the tub.

Where did you get the rods? I believe they need to be 31 inches

Ok, taking on this project. I ordered the acrylic rods, and two of the Sloan quad kits. I see the UFO controller, I'll get that too... but where did you get the 12v power from to connect to the pos/neg terminal on the UFO controller? Is the power coming from the hot tub somewhere, or is it ran to an outlet? Thanks! @@johnnyrizzo8057

I did not find the issue. We returned the spa to Strong Spa

For anyone reading this. IF YOUR BRING YOUR TRUCK TO FORD FOR THE RATTLE - Make sure they replace the entire Timing system, All chains, 4 phasers, all guides and tensioners. The rattle is actually from play in the chain when the car is shut off there is slack in the chain, once you start it up ( especially in the morning when its cold ) the slack of the chain lashes against the timing cover and components, If you do not get this done correctly you will just be back within a year like Wards yard. i've done plenty of these, the work is tedious and labor intensive which is why the Dealer wants to try and bandaid them. Do not let them!! It's in their service bulletin to replace all timing components

@@jrolla1858 ummm no its not the rattle is from the fazers due to the design flaws the vct's shake back and forth when the spring gets worn which is why they have updated the fazers to a sealed unit the lack of oil pressure to them causes them to rattle as well for the 1st 2-3 seconds the chain doesnt slap against the timing cover the chains would have to be severely stretched out for them to do so which is something that a over extended tensioner would cause the tsb doesnt say to replace the guides chains and all the related components only the fazers and if its severe enough then u would change the chain and tensioners due to it being stretched ive done dozens of these i have yet to see a damaged guide or one thats in very bad shape

It does cause an issue! It causes annoying noises from a 70k truck! It wasn't designed to do that genius. It's a fault. 2016 EB 3.5 with over 200k miles has no issue yet my 2019 with less than 38k miles has it......

@@SH-ni8sh Completely different turbos and designs... the older turbos on the gen 1 engine were prone to seized wastegates. Newer ones are fully electronic and I've only replaced a couple due to seriously under serviced oil and extremely cold weather.

@@kingpuff10 aahhh gotcha. I stand corrected. It’s annoying as hell none the less. I’m trying to place a spring on the outside along the shaft as a quick fix (without diving into it and seeing what could go wrong initially), but I’m also looking at the threads and nuts there. Could be adjusted correct?

@@SH-ni8sh The rods can be adjusted and the linkage at the waste gate can also be messed with little E-clips and S-clips. I've shimmed them with little success, and don't adjust the nuts they are fixed position for boost control. The inside of the turbine/ exhaust housing has a separate smaller port with a flapper from the wastegate, that flapper/ cover is attached to the wastegate rod and its what causes the noise. It's inside the Turbo/ Turbine housing and rings like a bell when open with no boost, like the warm-up cycle I described. It can't be heard over all the other noise at WOT but is probably making some noise then too. If u google turbo/ wastegate pics you'll see what I mean.
