I love the flavour of arugula but its always been way too strong for me to eat more than one or two leaves. I would try this, but probably sampling someone else's first so I wouldn't waste it if I didn't care for it. Curious if you would/have done a banana + cilantro/corriender smoothie?
@TheRawAdvantage9 сағат бұрын
It’s so tasty hey! I find the baby arugula to be the mildest, nice to start with a small amount and go from there. Good thing is, if you try with a half portion and less arugula the most you could waste would be less than $1, and could compost anyways🙌🏼 Ohh I have done banana cilantro too, super tasty, but I LOVE cilantro!🥰
@adamd941810 сағат бұрын
That looks fantastic. I often make a salad that has these two ingredients but the idea of making it into a smoothie looks great to me! I love how rich of a source of nitric oxide arugula is... it might be the highest source out there!

@TheRawAdvantage11 сағат бұрын
Hope you love it, start with half the amount and then adjust to taste! It may taste a little strong but the more often you eat it the more arugula most end up using!

You don't count calories on wfpb diet.
@TheRawAdvantage11 сағат бұрын
It can be very useful to do so for a time so you do not under eat, especially on a raw diet. Neither of us recommend obsessing about it but doing so for a time can really bring a lot of clarity and prevent common issues that can come up otherwise 🤗

@@TheRawAdvantage I think that's it - the small version is vertical instead of horizontal. I'll try pushing it all the way to the background next time and see if that helps (hear but not see). Not that I don't enjoy watching but I'm one of those multi-taskers. 😁

Thank you. Where did you become a registered holistic nutritionist? I’m looking for a certification program.
@TheRawAdvantageКүн бұрын
I went to CSNN in Canada, the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. It was back in 2003/2004, they have schools across Canada, also offer online schooling. It was good but truthfully if wishing vegan and raw focused I’d recommend Dr Rick and Karin Dinas Mastering Raw Food Nutrition 1 year program.

How do you sprout chic peas ? I order mine in a box they arnt cooked but i cant seem to get them to cook down
@TheRawAdvantage4 күн бұрын
I just soak them in a jar of water for 24-48 hours, rinsing really well and changing the water every 12 hours, then I drain, rinse and freeze. This gives the nicest taste and texture for all types of recipes 🤗
@shannoncat19846 күн бұрын
How do you digest raw chic peas without cooking them? Even when i cook them i have the worst digestion the only thing i can eat bean wise is lentils without gas I learned we dont have the right digestive enzymes to break down beans
@TheRawAdvantage4 күн бұрын
See above answer, when soaked 48 hours really rinsing and changing water much of the enzyme inhibitors are removed and they are easier to digest. Good to start with a relatively small amount, say 1/4-1/2 cups, and then go up from there to let the microbiome adjust.

Hi Chris! What brand on amazon? How much does it filter in a day?
@TheRawAdvantage9 күн бұрын
I talked with Dr G on this and he mentioned many are the same machine just a different name put on them, also, different brands are available in different countries on Amazon. I don’t recall the name of mine but I’d just look and find one with many good ratings and reviews with a glass container or at least a bpa free container :) It makes 4 litres in about 4 hours and needs to be manually filled. I have a big 9 litre glass container with a spout that I keep refilling whenever it gets to about 4 litres. Usually running the machine every 2-3 days.

I thought we weren’t suppose to distill our water because it takes out things our body needs. Maybe not that junk though.

This is old misinformation, distilled water is the purest water one can drink. The most well known longest running and most studied water fasting Center in the world, True North, utilizes distilled water on all their fasts.
